Our CB and DT recruiting in terms of getting a lot of quality players has been a joke. Our recruiting on the defensive side of the ball has been unorganized. Unless we pick up a LB we will be in this same situation next year.

This is what happens when you keep saying "next year", "next year". We keep throwing our eggs in 1 basket on the next recruiting cycle. We take 1 [insert position] one year then have to take like 4 or 5 the next year.

If he sees the field over the db recruits we have coming in 2018 or 2019 then we have failed in recruiting plain and simple. If you are taking an athlete then why not go after miles jones who is more of a playmaker?

We already have 3 elite cornerbacks committed this class in the running for three more. Relax i can guarantee that Divaad Wilson wont be anywhere close to Antrel Rolle, there will be another 4 star cb next year, can't get 10 in one class.

Unlike Tyson Campbell and PS2 who are both superb, no doubt, Bethel plays both ways, which is difficult to do at any level. Imagine if he concentrates on one position? Who knows!

Bethel really belongs in a separate conversation from Campbell/Surtain. The truth is you won't find a negative word about Bethel on NSD if we land Campbell and/or Surtain. But heat is going to be justifiably nuclear if we don't land at least one of the Heritage CBs, and Bethel will be the unfortunate, misguided target for some of that ire if he's the only corner we close with.

We have trouble closing and when u have trouble closing this is what happens u have an unbalanced roster. Our recruiting is light years ahead of Randy Coker and Al but we are trying to sneak back into the upper echelon u have to close on your high priority guys, closing is whats the difference between national champions or acc coastal champs. Why is closing important? because all the big time schools are going after your same targets and if u consistently hold them off u will get into that championship roster. If we keep saying next year is stacked thats a bad thing no 2 ways about it.

He has to hit on hometown guys like Tyson, he even hired his coach since he was a sperm cell. Losing him is a fail I mean does anyone think otherwise? I hate fans that try to make themselves feel better saying but we got this guy like that covers losing a certain kid, it doesnt. U want us a top Clemson type level we have to keep getting those dogs. This class is our best class in like 10 years but its still no excuse not to close because that affects u later on.

Yea that's nice but the cb depth chart was ridiculously uneven before this staff got here, so in the real world, among ppl who understand cfb even a little, we know that it's going to take a few years to be able to have the right amount of upperclassmen and underclassmen stacked on a roster per year. It seems like you are the one who doesn't know anything about CFB. We are in the skill position capital of the world. We should be able to load up on skill guys in tops 2.5 recruiting classes. Obviously we are going to miss on recruits, but that is why you have plan B kids. You can't just give up because you missed your target and say where going to go in with no depth and just hope to load up next year.
