Winky Flowers

Mother****ers watch 3 minutes of 5" YouTube clips from their battle chairs and think they're Jimmy Johnson. I get that people will extrapolate their 1% accurate misguided opinions... for conversation. But what cracks me up is how y'all DIG IN!

Oh jesus.

It's a message board. It's a football recruiting message board. If you haven't figured it out by now, your description is precisely its purpose.

Not sure why you didn't comprehend what I wrote, Jesus. Like I said, and I will repeat, I GET the conversation aspect, I GET the message board aspect, I just find it funny when people dig in so hard and refuse to budge like its the end of the world when their opinions are based on such a small amount of data. Its pretty funny.

You don't know **** about football (roger mayweather voice)

LOL. Thanks buddy.

Feel like I comprehended that and still would respond the same way.

Why is it that we have all these people interviewing Winky, including our own Chico d'brow, and no one asks him whether or not he would be willing to change positions?!? Is it that difficult a question to ask?

Oh yea, and GTFO bomb.

He said QB only

From that same article:

"Miami (Fla.) Northwestern defensive end Mike Smith flashed his elite explosiveness during linemen workouts. The hybrid outside linebacker checked in at 6-foot-3, 220-pound and breezed through linemen drills with ease. The pass rush specialist recorded 18 sacks as a junior and has early offers from Louisville, Marshall, West Virginia, USF and Clemson. "

Want badly.

"Miami (Fla.) Jackson quarterback Quinton Flowers measured in at 5-foot-10.5, 205-pounds and claims offers from Marshall, USF, UCF and Appalachian State to remain at quarterback. However, Flowers struggled at times during the 7-on-7 portion of the camp while on offense. The talented athlete did excel playing safety though, coming up want an interception and nearly hauling in his second while jumping an out-route. While he prefers to play quarterback, it would appear he has more upside playing in the defensive secondary."

You don't say?

I didn't think Winky was a college QB before but now that I know he is only 5'10 the case is closed on his QB aspirations at a big time program.

Gotta love George O'Liar telling him he can be a QB at UCF. Didn't he tell Godfrey the same thing?

Should be fun dealing with Luke. Hopefully Smith doesnt let him influence him like Artie Burns didnt

Luke isn't steering kids away from Miami. If Miami offers Smith, he will be a Cane.

The new coach was recruiting both of these kids when he was at USF so that could help us with Smith and Flowers..

Say what you want about Luke but his best player (and only high level d1 player) went to Miami. Can't say the same for Ice

Luckily Artie was locked in before Luke went all full Luke about the Kirkland fiasco. I think the staff should be applauded for their work on Artie despite Puke being involved

Luke loves the U... If it was up to him he'll send every Dade county player here... His issue is just like every other high school coach who thinks more highly of his players than the actual college coaches... Coaches like Luke think everyone on their roster and in their area are the cream of the crop while every other prospect outside of their area are scrubs... They feel slighted when their players don't get scholly's but if they do, they'll send them to that particular school...

re: Mahalak - I have no clue if that kid is a UM qb. I don't see how anyone can, given that he's never played. You simply gotta show it in games.

However, I really like the fact that he stuck behind the kid who was ahead of him and didn't take the transfer route and ***** out to another high school like so many kids do these days any time there's any adversity or they feel like they have better opportunity somewhere else. I really appreciate kids who don't treat HS football like mercenary ball and have a smidgeon of loyalty to their friends & community. It might not make him a UM QB, who knows, but it makes me root for him.

/still want Eduoauoauouards and Winky though.
