Calling it insanity is hyperbole. Our Top 5 pass defense was a solid unit with a drastically inflated ranking having gone up against a murderers row of LSU/Wisconsin (extremely run-heavy), Bethune Cookman/Savannah State/FIU (no explanation needed), and woeful ACC Coastal opposition that included Georgia Tech's triple option.

Our S&P defensive rating (which adjusts for strength of schedule) is 7th, one spot ahead of Alabama.

There is a reason Corey Raymond is the only DB coach that anybody has ever heard of. He’s a great coach, he gets paid a ton and he works for a school with a decade-long track record of first round DBs.

Banda has coached up the guys he inherited. That’s a great sign. Let’s see what he does with guys like Gurvan Hall and Keontra Smith.

Does it concern you Diaz and Banda have missed on so many South Florida recruits while making this market a top priority? In other words, they threw everything but the kitchen sink at these kids and still missed on them.

Yes it does concern me but I'm going to give these guys a bit of a break since it was Mark's ship not theirs. Mark set the recruiting strategy and had the final say. So, let's see how Manny sets up his recruiting organization before making any judgments.
