I agree but it will take time. It’s hard for people to imagine us at that level because we are skipping a bunch of steps. We have sucked now for nearly 20 years. 1 10 win season and 1 bowl game. Realistically our first goal is to amass enough talent to challenge to win the ACC. A run of 3-4 top 10 classes will do that. Start challenging for the conference regularly and we will start recruiting at UGA’s level. Now of course Mario can speed up timeline but we can’t just expect that.

They lost 150-0 when they played a team who recruits how I think we can (and need to) recruit.

Not ****ting on them, they had a great year, and a better year than Miami has had in a couple decades. But again, I said sustained success. If TCU goes to the playoff again this year, or even sniffs it, I will give beyond major props to Sonny and his staff. But I’ve got a lot of money that says they don’t. Why? Because they don’t recruit at the level that it takes to be a perennial conference champion and playoff type team.

I think this year could be bad or decent. I think after this season though we shouldn't have really bad bad seasons. Should be stacked enough up front on both sides where we can run it with a mean running game and elite DL play.

7-8 wins I think. The talent is going up. Interested to see what Colbie Young does. He actually looks legit. If he got faster he might be a real problem.

12 team format opens CFBPO to TCUs, SMUs, etc on a yearly basis.

4 team format almost guarantees only teams from Power 2 have a path.

Not going to be too many season in the Big12 where Texas AND Oklahoma both suck too. Well, a least until they join the SEC.

It was really a perfect storm type season for TCU in 2022.

I remember first watching him last season thinking to myself who tf is that. He was making plays and looking like he belonged, surprisingly was moving well too. He been a big surprise and I expect him to either just be a good player like last year or take a step. I'll still take what he did last year this year, just show some heart and effort and I'm good. He looked like he wanted it last year and he has some help now.

I wanna see a healthy Don Chaney Jr. with this oline too. I remember 2-3 years ago vs Bama he did not look afraid at all. He only had 7 carries for like 33 yards but I remember thinking it looked like he belonged & that was as a freshman.

I'm even looking at short term and long term! 24' is expansion of playoffs we don't necessarily have to be perfect to get in? Don't have to be undefeated or conference champs.

It's all about if we have the patience as a fan base to allow them to overhaul the talent forever so this doesn't happen again. So we don't die for 20 years looking for a revival. There will be some sort of system in place that allows to get the best yearly.
