Well said 91. Even though it would Id be ****ed if he chose another school other then the U. He still deserves respect for handling his recruitment like a man with the utmost respect unlike Jobe. That said I still believe that the evidence points to him becoming a Cane with his other two AH boys.

If Miami doesn't land Campbell the locking down sfla is still a myth...however if Miami unexpectedly lands 2 bigtime lineman...the db class would look that much better with or without....if not... it's going to go down as another failure... losing the best db in sfla is going to hurt...this is why recruiting the trenches should be more of a priority...Miami has the talent at skill to compete with anybody....just need to upgrade the trenches with monsters....let's hope we see some surprises on signing day.....

I remember Campbell retweeted or liked a tweet or two from some guy when he "shocked the world" (may have been that dude with the name King that chose Bama after leaving them out of his top 3). It's possible with these guys being so quiet that they all choose us in the end.

I don't want to be that guy making wild guesses but Surtain not even mentioning us in his interviews would be a way for him to shock the world. It just doesn't add up to me that he came out to see practice and hasn't even mentioned us once.

Thanks for the info. The fact of the matter is that nobody on this board, other than Rattler, knows what this kid is going to do. His entire recruitment has been pretty low-key and he has handled it respectfully. It would be great if other recruits would take note of how TC has handled his recruitment. The kid would be an incredible addition to the class in an area where there is a big need. I'm gonna stay cautiously optimistic that he chooses UM in the end. Regardless of his decision I will wish him nothing but the best for his future as I respect the **** out of the way he has handled his recruitment.

If they all handled their recruitment like Campbell, this board wouldn’t be half as much fun. What would we kvetch about?

It means to really complain constantly about something. It's the same type of thing that got you annoyed enough to post a thread telling people to knock it off with the constant panic about possibly losing recruits.

I think Ivey is the best of the group and probably gets more immediate PT than anyone else coming in. Criminally slept on prospect.

Agreed. I think he plays early and often. He'll be a difference maker. He's had the benefit of practicing against two of the best HS receivers in the country. There is a reason teams simply elected not to throw in his direction.

We have an excellent DB class even without Campbell, but Campbell is a must get because he plays in the heart of our recruiting base and he's a top talent. Jobe got away and took time to spit in our face on the way out with his business decision comment. We need to win the battle for Campbell. It helps to build our brand, affirms the perception that we're a legit landing spot for elite SF DBs, and affirms that we are indeed a sound business decision for feeding your family.

With Campbell we will have the best DB class this cycle, and one of the stronger DB units in the country going forward.

I like Ivey's length (nh) but I worry about his overall athleticism. Kid could tie his shoes standing up...But man he looks so slow and is tripping on his won feet on those interception returns on his tape. Also needs to add strength, and kids don't budge when he hits them...Now if he can cover that forgives these sins, but I just don't see him on the field early.

I think this is more important than interviews. Sometimes kids just say what people want to say and not the truth in interviews and they are probably more honest with teammates.

He doesn't know either. Nothing against Rattler, he's got better info than the rest of us, but the kid isn't telling anybody what he's going to do.
