Asked who was starter for them? Seals in Portal too Swann was the starter at the beginning and looks like he’ll got hurt/benched. I’ll admit I watched zero Vanderbilt games lol it’s pretty hard to look good on that team I’d imagine.

I think that perception exists just in Miami boards where most people hate Mario. People claim it’s a run-only-bro-physical offense. But we had a ton of success throwing the ball until our head case QB became a turnover machine.

With Leach the offense used passing plays 70-74% of the plays, the new HC changed the offense to a "balanced 50/50" pass / run scheme and most likely didn't have the personnel / OL to run the ball. Was more of a HC/OC issue than QB.

So in conclusion of all the QB portal threads, you guys have issues with all the options and are looking for Pat Mahomes with Mike Vick legs with the TD to INT ratio of Aaron Rodgers in the portal.

Dawson annoyed me this year but i‘d roll one more year. Too many former players speak highly of him to think he’s an idiot. I just like to see a little more space , motion and creativity. I don’t know if the predictability on certain downs is him or the HC. The last two weeks has been good though. Especially the under center stuff on short yardage.

He made some bad decisions and this was still one of the better offenses we’ve had in a while I think u give him one more year this is the first time in forever we’ve had all our coaches come back I wanna see how much even further we progress and if Dawson makes the bad decisions again let him go

He called a good enough season to win 9-10 games. Between TVD and Mario decision making, it cost us 2 games.
