Will Miami win another NC in our lifetime?

I don't know bout no NC's but take it to the bank that Kaaya will win multiple Heismans. Ron Powlus has been notified.

Here we go again with the anti-Shalala stuff. Donna Shalala has signed off on the termination of 2 head coaches. If she didn't care so much, she would have just stuck with Coker or Shannon. She also wouldn't have stuck her neck out with the NCAA stuff. She was very vocal throughout that process.

As for the "Harvard of the south" stuff, as an alum, I am quite grateful that Miami has become a top 50 school and #1 in Florida. Success in academics and athletics do not have to be mutually exclusive. Please stop suggesting that Shalala is Tad Foote. She is not.

For argument sake, let's say the average poster on CIS is 35 & the average lifespan of an adult man in the US is 76... then we'd be speaking of the next 41 years (give or take a few). Satisfied?

I am an alum also, but from Sun Tan U. Even though UM Law was always respected especially in my estate tax field, I am much more grateful to football teams that beat the crap out of everyone. The response to "I went to Miami" went from "Oh, that nice." To "Oh, no shi...!!!!" Maybe it is the attorney in me but I prefer the latter. And in case you failed to notice, the one person who unquestionably took dirty money from that little scum was you Princess Donna. Remember the stupid grin on her face as see looked at the check? NCAA should have issued show cause on her, but she got good ole boy protection.

She fired Larry long after he proved he sucked, and only because of the fight(note: team acted like old Canes, coach got fired). She hired Randy and fired him long after he prove he could not coach and only because a completely empty stadium might have made us into Temple of the ACC. Oh, wait she hired Temple's coach -- get the connection. The fact is that during her reign the program has been destroyed. She is top dog and the buck must stop at her desk. It is her fault.

I am much older, but I still think I see one. Might take another coach, but even Donna might ***** up and hire a winner by mistake.
