I hear you man.. I'm normally not the "sky is falling" type but after taking in that beat down in Orlando in person & seeing all this tomfoolery surrounding our program this week, I'm at maximum rustle capacity. At the end of the day, I think the people in charge are happy as can be with no arrest, 3.5 gpa's & 9 win seasons. It's killing me.

It's been a reality check that's for sure. I'm out on trying to figure out solutions to problems that I have no authority to fix. I love The U. Just want to stand by those kids. AG kind of smoked himself with me, but I'll chill if we can get to the ACCCG and be competitive. Have to wait and see.

That about sums it up for me as well. Just very frustrated. AG had me sold early on.. Now, I'm not so sure. Regardless, you won't see me cheering for us to lose or stop going to games. (See the bold. Ditto)

It's just funny cause everyone was sayin the same **** they said about golden with butch , miami will win another title under golden mark my words you soft shoulder ******s no mater how you put it , it really wasn't ******* easy to get kids to come here with the NCAA bull**** as you can see recruiting is finally picking up and it will only get better

Not under the current administration. Once Shalala retires, maybe we get someone in here that is willing to spend money on football and goes out and hires the right coaches.

When we went to the 2001 Rose Bowl, I thought that was going to be a frequent trip. Frankly, under this coaching administration, I don't see it. Al is more dedicated to his BFF than to being a champion.
 
Keeping track of recruiting the way I do I say no, until theres top to bottom changes not just coaches.

To be honest AG had cuffs on now he released one and still has another with the adm. Until that changes it doesn't matter foreal, I don't like the staff either but our problems run deeper than that. When are we going to stop blaming the coaches and blame whos really responsible.

The UM administration is the new whipping boy I see. They are at fault for everything!!! Wrong. The UM administration, specifically the athletic directors over the past 10-15 years, are to blame for one thing: hiring terrible coaches.

Bad coaching is and has been Miami's problem. That is why Miami is not winning. The blame lies squarely on the shoulders of Coker, Shannon and now Golden.

I agree, Golden did have a handcuff with the NCAA mess but now that is over. Unfortunately, he is also handcuffed by being an average coach at best and I doubt he will be able to get rid of that handcuff. When Miami actually hires a good coach, then the football program will be elite again.

So yes, Miami will win multiple more titles in my lifetime.

When you reflect on how awesome our staff's were when we were winning NC's (or under Butch), it seems very plausible.
 
With a great coaching staff and changes to the NCAA's exploitation of "amateur" athletes, maybe. Until then we're gonna continue to lo$e recruits and lose games. I give it another 15 years minimum.
