Get realwhen we won 58 straight at home we only sold out 13 of them and it was Uf, FSU, ND, PSU Okla and Nebraske so don't think for a minute if we are winning all games that 70,000 will turn out for Savannah ST

For 50 years I've been going to Canes games without being told what to wear, I am working out of town in St. Augustine, driving home to Kissimmee Friday to come down for game and if I don't have anything white in Canes gear I'll be wearing my Jim Kelly #12 Orange jersey and if you don't like it kill yourself and end up in ****.

The length of time that you have been going to Canes games and the fact that you work like everyone else doesn't excuse you from completing the easy task of finding a white article of clothing to wear.

I don't own a single white UM item. Everything is orange, green, or that charcoal gray (the newer stuff). They waited way too long to announce this.
 
Did the AD ever think a white out will highlight the 25k Gaytor fans in the stadium? Just embarrassing.

I won't be home until Friday and leave straight for S Fla so I might not have time, it's not like I live in Miami in St Aug there is nothing but gators anywhere and in Kissimmee it's pretty much all UF and FSU, and for some JACKASS to say if you don't wear white go kill yourself really is gatorlike in attitude.

Internet? I live in Tennessee. The minute I found out about this I ordered a white shirt. I'm going to All Canes Friday to see what they have, but I ordered one to be sure.

Man it don't have to be a white UM piece of clothing. Wear a **** white t shirt and quit *****ing. Like you don't have 1 white t? Or can't run to walmart and get a white t?

I'm not in the hood no more (thank god) but even when I was, I was able to afford a **** white T. SMH @ some of y'all bruh.
 
All I hear is ******* excuses. I got a solution for you guys who say you don't have time. Sunlife stadium has an apparel store which sells UM gear. I personally saw plenty of apparel in white that will work for this occasion. There were jerseys, T-shirts, collared shirts and even V-necks that probably would go best with some of these guys attributes. Lets come up with the next excuse now, because time has been eliminated.
 
Can this be moved to the classics forum? 12 pages on whether of not to wear a white t-shirt, the merits of doing so, and the lead time given to find said white t-shirt. Only thing missing is the revelation that it was Urs' idea while working at UM.

Man I wish I had a low number white jersey. But alas the Winslow 81 white is gonna have to make an appearance. It's the only white Canes article I own. I wont be at the game but **** sure I will have on the white.

/White out for the game is kinda lame IMO. Really only works for night games.

When ever I wonder if we still have the worst and most pathetic overall fan base in college football I just read a thread like this and return to reality.

I am blown away by the excuses of why a white shirt can't be found or purchased in these United States of America. It's simple, if you aren't wearing white you just don't give a ****. You really don't cae if we win or lose you are a selfish pos who will not participate in any type of school spirit. So you obviously aren't an alumni, just one of those bandwagon fans the rest of us make fun of. Enjoy your one game every 10 years when you think we are going to be good and then make sure you fall when getting back off the bandwagon.
 
The *****azzedness of our Fanbase is at a all time high. There is no excuse once so ever that any of you can say that will make any lick of sense to why you can't wear white on Saturday. The fact that you want to argue it for 12 pages is the exact reason why our fanbase is in such disarray. F*ck...wear your **** jerseys at the tail gate and put it on again after the game with a white tee underneath. During the game, use your freaking jersey as a rally rag for all I care and wave it obnoxiously over your head. However, can't we have some semblance of unity from our fanbase for ONE **** GAME. Great way to kick off Kill-A-Gata week.
