Im going all white, but seriously, couldn't the school have announced this earlier for all the fans and vendors to really promote this? Seriously, all my UM gear is basically orange and green( with some grey mixed in, the new stuff). But hey, UM's gonna UM

Maybe they didn't announce it earlier because they don't think obtaining a piece of white clothing in a weeks time is an impossible task

If the Sun Life crowd wears all white, is half as crazy as what I'm expecting, and beats UF on National TV. I suspect we will get some big time recruits wanting to come here. The kids will expect it to be like that every single weekend. (Which it will once we start winning)

Why do some Cane fans worry so much about Gator arrests? I could care less personally. I'd take double the arrests as them if we had the same type of football success lately. When we finally start winning, I would imagine we will quit worry so much about the Gators or there arrests.

Honestly, I don't even think thats important. Whatever they wear, they wear. It doesn't matter. My point is, as someone who want this 'white-out' ( which I believe is the first time UM has ever done this sort of thing) to succeed, I think they could've done a better job of marketing and promoting it beforehand like other programs.

That being said, I hope everyone does their best to participate. Miami is working to create a collegiate atmosphere to attract recruits, etc, it would just looked bad if this thing was only done by half of our fan base on Saturday.

i mean this is just the beginning of UF week so they do have a week to promote this. do they really need to announce 6 months in advance to get ppl to buy a white shirt (which miami ppl have a million of since the heat have done white hot heat the last 3 postseasons)

I agree with you. I have a couple of white-based golf shirts and I'll wear one of them if needed but it would have been preferable to have a few weeks notice. A quick scan of some of the online sources like Amazon reveals very few white Canes shirts, especially in polos. Some of them are available in size small only. If I'm going to buy something I'd like it to be classy and have staying power, not some white T-shirt that otherwise I wouldn't be interested in.

I agree with you. I have a couple of white-based golf shirts and I'll wear one of them if needed but it would have been preferable to have a few weeks notice. AWSI, I think people are confusing those who believe that UM should've done a better job of marketing this thing with those who are resisting. I'm all in with this thing. Other schools( who have much better attendance that UM and our college towns) actually do promote this type of stuff for months and put it on their schedules to make sure people know beforehand. That's all Im saying

My 3rd cousin is going to the game, but I told him to wear orange. The only thing white that I know he owns is a Klan robe. I just said "trust me Bubba, go with the orange for this one".

Since they had to get UF's permission to wear white (NCAA rule), knowing Foley, he probably just gave them ok, so they probably just announced it. I'll be one of those making a mad rush on All Canes Friday.

Since they had to get UF's permission to wear white (NCAA rule), knowing Foley, he probably just gave them ok, so they probably just announced it. I'll be one of those making a mad rush on All Canes Friday.

OK, does Foley now expect UF to get a percentage of All-Canes revenue this week? But yeah, I'll see you there Friday!!!
