Whiteout for the UF game.

Boise State puts it on their schedule what to wear (they don't give out shirts contrary to popular belief).

Last year UNC did a white out and they announced it a week ahead of their game vs VT.

This has probably been in the works a couple of weeks. Maybe I am naive but you don't just design a shirt like that, arrange for purchase and printing services for 6k shirts a week ahead of time (with a holiday in the mix as well).

BTW, if the team is wearing white this week, why doesn't UM come out and say so? What can be so ******* hard about a little blurb from UM?

Honestly, I don't even think thats important. Whatever they wear, they wear. It doesn't matter. My point is, as someone who want this 'white-out' ( which I believe is the first time UM has ever done this sort of thing) to succeed, I think they could've done a better job of marketing and promoting it beforehand like other programs.

That being said, I hope everyone does their best to participate. Miami is working to create a collegiate atmosphere to attract recruits, etc, it would just looked bad if this thing was only done by half of our fan base on Saturday.

I'm pretty sure The Don was very specific in telling them not to start marketing the 2nd game of the season BEFORE they played the first game. That's just football. Corches would go ballistic if the athletics department started publicly marketing the uf@g game and what we should wear to the game while the team was prepping for FAU.

It's Miami. You can buy white wife beaters, tube socks and naranjas on any street corner. Come on guys, it's not that hard.

I dont get why our idiotic fan base can't jus follow a simple request and wear white... Any other team would do it if they were asked smh

****ing whiteout it is you bunch of ******s! It's one simple request from the AD against are most hated rival who refuse to ever play us again because they are a bunch of pussies. It gives me a reason to go by a white Duke Jersey for the whole family. It will also be 80 percent canes fans there. You posters saying it will be more gator fans than hurricane fans are idiots.

You don't need to call people idiots without looking in the mirror first. I will wear the same throwback 12 Jim Kelly orange jersey I always wear. It will be a majority of Canes fans but don't be surprised about how many gator fans are there because we have been legendary in selling are tickets to opposing fans taking the easy money and sitting our lazy asses in front of TV being armchair QBs. Case in point 2003 Fiesta Bowl when Miami had 15,000 tickets and only about 7,000 of us showed up selling out to OSU. It has always been that way in Miami and always will.

how lucky has ur jim kelly orange been the last 10 years?

THIS IS WHERE LOYAL FANS MEET THE SOUTH BEACH FASHION POLICE....QUESTION, WERE YOU BORN BEFORE OR AFTER THE OB WAS LEVELED?....

FEEL FREE TO STOP BY FOR A COLD ONE..I'LL BE THE DUDE IN THE ORANGE #98 J. BROWN JERSEY (RIP)..WE CAN CHAT ABOUT OUR 5 "LUCKY" NATIONAL TITLES.....

I attended the most recent game at Sun Life against Clemson. Orange unis, orange fans, orange seats, orange flags, orange, orange, orange. Looked like an orange and you had no idea who was in the stands. It was really disturbing. Great game even though we lost in OT. Cost me a bundle coming from NY but well worth it.
I think wearing white for a game with teams that also have orange colors is a no brainer.
JUST DO IT!!!!!

Reports are that Gators wearing alll orange:

Why do some Cane fans worry so much about Gator arrests? I could care less personally. I'd take double the arrests as them if we had the same type of football success lately. When we finally start winning, I would imagine we will quit worry so much about the Gators or there arrests.

You my friend are a troll, or fool, either way, I'll try to dumb it down for you.

we care because you u*** idiots call canes thugs, talk about the same crap, act holier than art thou, and in the mean time racked up more arrests than the cardiac unit at Jackson memorial hospital .

its not a coping mechanism. Its about hypocrisy.

Now be gone.

I have been a Cane fan since the Thug U days, if I was *****ing about FLA arrests, wouldn't that make me the hypocrite? Some Cane fans talk about the arrests to make themselves feel better because we aren't winning. I only care about the football program. I can care less about the academic or public image aspect of the Canes. It seems to me like a lot of the newer generation of Cane fans are of a beta male type.

So wait, the Gators have to agree to let us wear white due to some strange NCAA ruling?

Why would they let us wear white at a NOON game? That's just giving us a competitive advantage.

I don't care if the Canes wear dildoes strapped onto our helmets. I just hope we show up. That isn't a given unfortunately.
