When can we expect a Guidry firing?

Coach the boys up?? If he had done that at all this year, we wouldn’t be going to the pop tarts bowl. Math ain’t mathin there! Lol

Guidry is a mess, 12th game of the season and no one on our defense can communicate a play effectively. Players at all level are constantly confused and looking around for the play. They can't correctly pass players off in zone which constantly forced us into Man-cover which allowed QB's to pick on 1,7 and 0 all season. He literally handcuffed himself into a horrible defense because he wasn't able to do what middle school coaches can.

Both of these guys do not deserve a job at the P4 level and it's and objective fact.

Interesting take on Dawson, and one that I dont disagree with.
I wonder how many of our big plays were designed vs Cam hunting for big plays in scramble drill mode. I think the latter accounts for an unusually high percentage. I don’t think Dawson’s system should get credit for those plays.

Not to mention his feel of rotations and 2nd/3rd qtr oftentimes being flat in terms of building momentum.

Next year, barring unforeseen multiple significant portal additions, I see the offense being very run oriented.

I dunno. Guidry seemed to run a pretty solid defense at Marshall, especially against teams of equal or greater talent and given the circumstances last year with the injuries and poor complementary support from the offense, he did admirable job. It's funny, last year it was Addae who sucked and whom the players despised according to some insiders, now it's Guidry.

I hope he gets a HC offer somewhere and we can get an OC that doesn’t take naps in the second quarter.
