How the **** did this woman sit down with Randy Shannon and come away thinking that he had the ability to lead a top tier, division 1 BCS program?? Seriously??!? Did she not think that speaking the english language was an important asset in recruiting, public speaking, etc... WTF was the woman thinking??

So No Players or coaches were at fault...or their boss..

We are using the word "fault" in two different senses.
I think that there was some fault among some of the players and coaches. I am not sure how much Donna is able to or has a responsibility to babysit the football staff. But if we grant that the buck stops with her, by "fault," I meant fault in the sense of monumentally disproportionate overreaction on the part of the NCAA.

Really? Didn't we hear all about how the NCAA screwed the investigation up, so they were going to drop the case? Did that ever happen?

Didn't Donna demand a speedy closure to this in one of her angry letters? What was the result of that?

This woman got a $100 Million donation for the Med school...has increased our endowment over a qtr of a Billion dollars to over $1 Billion (yes with a "b") dollars, and has raised the academic profile a ton. a UM degree today means more in the real world when it did when she started over a decade ago, yet you want her gone because of Football.

You clearly are merely a fan of the football team and don't give a **** about the school. ****, you clearly don't give a **** about the football players outside of Football. What Donna does helps set them up for the real world if god-forbid a NFL career doesn't work out (Which it won't for a majority of the team which is just a reality of college sports).

I was awarded my Doctorate from THE U when it was SunTan U. It was only after the football started kicking everyone rears did I hear, "Oh, crap you went to THE U! Wow" The fame of the football team meant every thing to the growth of the University and the donations. Med and law schools have always been good. But the football team made saying I went to THE U mean everything. I paid tuition, and I stand by THE U and my Cane brothers. Donna is a Orangeman, and they all suck. Nasty, rude fans.
