What else do we need?

Ray Ray is cheeks. He has shown nothing of value since he has been here. It’s time to move on.

Carr needs to win that spot in spring. Chance I have no clue he may be serviceable for about 15-20 catches. Tht leaves you Daniels and JoJo. That’s not enough

That's where I'm at. Not sure I'd call Ray Ray cheeks. But he certainly hasn't made the most of multiple opportunities, whereas Jojo made his presence known when he got his shot. Overall, just not enough "there there".

I have looked forward to reading your posts for years, really appreciate the analysis you've brought to the table. Recently, I've noticed you've become judgmental edging on disdainful. Yet you hate when people disagree with you. I don't quite understand that dynamic tbh.
If I hated when people disagree with me I wouldn't be so disagreeable.

I could easily be an idiot & just say things that I know you guys wanna hear.

But what fun is that?

I'm just not as naive as a lot of you are & it creates a lot conflicting conversations because people who don't use their brains tend to be resentful towards people who do.

Tough part about WR this year is we don’t have a single guy worth a **** so far from the 2023 class

Ray Ray is the only receiver even on the team

Fletcher is the only offensive player that has even made a dent

The 2024 class looks good on paper but the 2023 class is a travesty from a points-scoring perspective

Yeah for sure. That dude is gonna kill people this year. I hope he goes after the LT spot in the spring

But yeah the 2023 has been taking a beating and wow it is bad as far as skill players

Since you used the pronoun "you", I'll just correct you now to say I have no resentfulness to you. I just thought you less petty and obnoxious than you are acting. But thank you for clarifying. Still going to enjoy your writeups on players and recruits even as I ignore the chatter.

Based on our moves it seems were moving somebody to S. I would leave Lucas at CB but what do i know
The goal is to put as much talent on the field at the same time as we can.If OJ starts at 1 cb spot and we keep Lucas at corner then one of Lucas or Oconner is on the bench.Lucas at FS puts all 3 on the field at the same time.

You should ignore me altogether.

Probably would be better for your sensibilities.

Move D. Brown to Safety. Better suited there. Think we will be in Nickel often as most Offenses run 3 WR sets. Three starting corners - Lucas, OJ and Brantley. Brown at one safety and pick your other between Poyser and ZP.

Very interesting seeing so many saying we need a WR...

You would figure with a QB as good as the one we just got, he could elevate one of the young guys like JoJo, Carr, Chance or one of the incoming Frosh.

I mean, it's not like we haven't seen TF WR's have great seasons.
Exactly. develop what you have. there's plenty of talent on the roster. Give them a shot to show it.

Then the ? is who is better Oconner or Damari,we'll see this spring.

Trader is the best wr on the team
He very well could be and I sure hope he is because everyone said he’s on another level and could be just as good as Smith and that kid on Alabama’s team. The only thing Jojo had to work on was getting his body bigger and strong stronger to deal with the college game. This spring he’ll have had a year and a half to do that. We’ll see if he took that goal seriously.

What does that say about the young WR's?

Imo- nothing if they are doing their job and trying to always bring in better talent. We lost 6 WR and Added 4. If we factor in the new scholarship numbers, we really should be looking for 3-4.

WR. If we can get a bonafide stud #1 WR, then that needs to happen. If it's just another #3 type guy, then I would rather let the kids play and see what we have.

Impact MLB. A true sideline to sideline kind of guy. Haven't had a real impact LB it feels like since Perriman.

DT. 2 deep or better caliber player. I like Blay a lot and think Scott can push for starter next to him this year. Moten is nice piece in the two deep but I need one more before I can feel ok with that room. Horton staying healthy and making a jump would be the ideal but we can't count on his health.

S. Poyser and Zay could be a fun tandem next year if Zay takes a leap forward but there's not much else behind them so if one or both get hurt, we are kind of screwed. I'd be fine with a 2 deep caliber type guy to round that room out. I assume we move one of the CB's to Safety next year as well. Feels like it could be Lucas even though I hope we keep him at CB.
