Welcome to The U-Juwon Young, LB, GA.

He has a 3.0 in his core classes which qualifies him no problem he just needs to take his ACT now to fully Qualify and a ACT score of 18 gets him in to UM, which will
be no problem for him. UM's operation staff has it under control, shhhh its our secret weapon.

Go Canes

Do you know of any helpful programs that could help him pass the ACT?

You should pass those along to him!

give the man credit he been spot on lately...

Wish we had an early signing period. Watch this kid start to blow up and get offered by every major school. Keep recruiting, it starts now for this kid!

Auburn would be the big concern. Albany is like one hour from Albany. This is not Coker/Shannon. Golden will be all over him.

Al Golden Football Camp paying off. Canes secure commit from LB Juwon Young out of Albany, GA.

remember when randy used to charge like $400 for camp and none of the kids could afford it?:ohlord:

Espically OOS recruits. They will have to pay for flight or excessive gas mileage, hotels, and the camp.

$400?!? I remember looking into a UM camp years back for a kid I coached and it was around $800... Plus, flight and accomodations (I live in Toronto). Kinda hard to sit down with any family and justify dropping around $1200 for a "chance" to get a scholarship. I remember Golden mentioning his camp when he was first hired and how'd he use these camps to scout players and network with local coaches. Its nice to see his plan in motion.

Does anyone know of one player UM got from randys camps???? (excluding maybe Cannon Smith)

-Says he fell in love with the atmosphere
-Says the coaches tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear
-Says the coaches were straight and honest with him
-He has built a good relationship with Barrow since he was offered in May
-Says he can learn a lot from Barrow
-Ranked as the #15 OLB in the country by 247
-Had 118 tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 FF as a junior

Nothing against those smaller LB's that come in around 200-210 but I'm glad this cat already has good size at around 230. That is what we need at the LB position. At least one great size. I know Kirby and Grace are will be **** a good LB's but this is a much needed addition.
