Hal you've been a friend for awhile so I'll put this bluntly, I'll take fandom over condescending bull**** every time. Nobody is denying he's a smart knowledgable poster. What continues to irk us is his pick and choose battles in which he chooses to act like a sly better than us **********. He lays low with knowledgable info and then goes full on passive aggressive to talk down to and argue semantics with posters. He jumps in and out of an informative rival suit into a argumentative full on agenda driven prick. And he does it with ease.

And you of all people should recognize such. I know it's in your DNA to go against the grain but I smh at you not seeing through this bull****. if you have a pool of let's say 32 kids that are committed, but have 30 spots, you're probably going to hedge your bets on the guys that are borderline academic risks(or maybe not even borderline) not getting in. see: Griffin
