We have somehow gotten worse each Week

Except UF.

Finish the season ranked, they are a bad football team. They will lose 6 games this year..

We don't have control over that.

So you are putting all the blame on the players for losing 41-14?

I will be happy to answer your question when you answer mine above (it is also below in case you missed it porsting).

Do you think strength of schedule is the only reason this defense is not having the same results as last year?

SOS attributes to much of our rankings, if were playing really good offenses we would be in the bottom of the country for total defense.

It'd be different if we were -6.5 like Clemson at home and gave up 50. But we were minus -21 which means that point blank we don't have the talent.

IT would be different if we lost by one or two TD's but we lost 41-14. We were embarassed in front of the whole country by our rival..

FYI...We also beat a ranked rival this year.

What are your thoughts on the offense? Over the last 4 games (GT, UNC, WF and FSU) Stephen Morris has thrown 8 INTs. I guess this makes it easy on the defense.

Still no answer.

Keep porsting.

We haven't had a good QB at the U since Dorsey, I'm not really surprised with our ineffective QB play.

Yes, the reason why our rankings are higher is b/c of the teams we've played.

IF we were losing these games by 10-14 points, I would have no problem with the results. We are losing 41-14, 52-13, 41-3..

Your numbers alone show a 11 point per game improvement. We don't have the horses, but we have and will continue to improve dramatically in the future, see 2014 recruits, give them a year and then be fair and reasonable in our assessments.

I'm not asking our defense to be the 85 bears; In the past two years we have gotten blown out by every ranked team.

Except UF.

You failed to acknowledge that 4 of the players who started for us on Saturday would not make the 2 deep on any of the teams you listed or any of the teams who rank in the top 10 in total defense.

The coaches can't coach yet Tracy Howard, Rashawn Jenkins and Deon Bush when healthy have been studs. Antonio Crawford has become a decent contributor. Perryman has gotten much bigger and is improved. We are just playing too many guys with low athleticism and low ceiling for max skill potential.

We don't have the horses yet we were only down 21-14 and getting the ball in the 2nd half. We were outscored 20-0 in the 2nd half, nice halftime adjustments.

Again I'm not asking us to be a top 10 defense, I just don't want to lose 41-14.

False we did what everyone nationally EXPECTED a -21 point dog to do, which was lose by -21 points. You at too busy looking at the logo on the helmet instead of the guy wearing it. It not exactly Antrelle Rolle, Sean Taylor, Jon Vilma, Dan Morgan, Vince Wilfork and Warren Sapp out there...**** it aint even Glenn Cook or Romeo Davis out there.

We didn't lose by 21 points we lost by 27. Wasn't Stanford 40 point underdogs when they beat USC a couple years ago?

So, what's your proposed solution to this problem?

Under Shannon and Golden our teams get worse as the season progresses.

We run out of gas bc our S and C program still isn't good enough. Until we get that social welfare experiment Swasey replaced, I doubt we ever return to true greatness.

I think we should replace Coach D.

A new DC won't help us score more than 14 points against FSU. A new DC won't make our QB stop throwing to the other team. A new DC won't turn AJ Highsmith into Sean Taylor. A new DC won't turn Jimmy Gaines into Dan Morgan, or Curtis Porter into Vince Wilfork, or Chick into Rusty Medearis, or Tyrone Cornelius into Jesse Armstead, or Kacy Rodgers into Antrel Rolle, or....shall I continue?
