AG was talking this morning (wqam interview) about how crucial it is to play assignment football & gave an example of this exact play... Said we were in man coverage & that the QB should've been forced to ground the ball. Instead, LB freelanced, assignment was blown, 6 points for the other team.

How about the other plays, FSU carved up our defense like a hot knife through butter. They had over 500 yards of total offense.

it took jim harbaugh til his 4th season, and david shaw has been keeping it going.. once you put a system in place, and recruit for that system, it's much easier.. look at VT.. VT is succesful because they have had that system in place for YEARS, and they recruit to that.. they know the type of guys they need to be successful.

Looking back, the only thing that I wished Miami would've done was use somebody to spy Jameis better. He made several plays with his feet in the 1st half that if he wouldn't have made those they are probably held to 7 pts.

Then Morris throws a pick in the 2nd half and he is done, confidence is shot, and it's over.

F$U averages 550 yds per game. We did pretty well compared to the likes of Clemson, NC State, Maryland, and Nevada. Bethune only gave up 492 yards to them. Maybe we should fire Golden and the staff and hire away the entire Bethune staff. Those guys clearly get it.

I think one thing to note is that teams now have tape on our D.

We're still doing it with smoke and mirrors on that side of the ball. They know what we're trying to do with each personnel package (and unfortunately we're at two extremes right now - stop the run or 'rush' the passer) and have designed a gameplan around it.

FSU offense is very UM like in 2000..Young smart QB ( that the country made fun of)...good backs great Wrs and solid TEs....

they can score on anyone anytime....if they dont get screwed like us losing to VT or Duke they should play for the ship..they are that good
