Its not an accident we recruited Hooks, Toby Johnson, Ben Bradley, and other JUCO d-linemen. This is about them understanding that if they want to compete on the level they think they are ready to compete at, they need immediate help on the defensive line.

Taking Bond, Figueroa, and Mafoombaclickclack tells me Golden knows we can win next season, and wants immediate help in these areas. It is not related to whiffing on Semicock or Bostwick.

So your telling me teams that had terrible defenses offering this kid is a bad thing??? Think they might be trying to upgrade??? Last time i checked our D wasn't to stellar either...

Ours fans are incredibly smart and know more then the coaches.

An opinion like that is irrelevant without logical reasoning behind it.

Not saying its necessarily true but I think when this happens fans begin to assume that the staff is feeling bad about some top prospects and getting desperate

OR.... the big time schools with big time defenses don't need to search that hard since the top DL are knocking on their doors. Besides immediate playing time, just what the **** do we offer top tier DL recruits? And don't one of you ****sticks dare point to Forston as success.

I think people are glossing over the chance that Bostwick may not even make it on campus after he chooses UM. We are downplaying it, but I've heard for the longest that Bostwick is a longshot to qualify.

I trust Goldens opinion more then my own or anyone's on this sight. That being said, after looking at his film i was very unimpressed with him power, speed, first step and the horrible OLs he was playing against. I hope i'm wrong!

Seeing how we have limited space, i dont see how it doesnt seem logical that offering him equates to us not feeling good about landing another prospect at his same position.(Bostwick or Bryant)
