dont love, wasnt impressed by his film at all.

and probably means theyre not feeling great about Bostwick or Bryant

Our biggest issue last year was getting to QB
we continue to find guys who can do that from multiple sets and positions, and guys who can impact sooner than later
Was hoping for a big time local guy, but we did need more pressure so this guy can pay off immediately

I'm starting to believe Golden doesn't much like what he has on the DL right now. This man will see a lot of snaps.

Not at all, IMO. We have a very easy schedule, a loaded offense, and most importantly, a senior QB. We grabbed JUCOs to immediately help at rushing the passer and along the DL, the biggest weakness on the team last season. Bostwick and Bryant would be great additions, but their impact would not be as great next season as a good JUCO.

Glad we got some depth on the DL as he has 3 years left. Per TOS the only other BCS offer was West Virginia, which is concerning but gotta have faith in Al

This. But at least its a big body for depth.

They've tried to sign a JUCO big body from the outset. I don't think it has much to do with Bryant or Bostwick. We remember Hooks and Bradley don't we? Truth is 2013 could be a huge year(Fisch leaving included). Getting a guy they expect to contribute right away was a goal. Expecting 18-19 DTs to change your defense is asking for trouble. Porter, Robinson, Pierre, Kamalu along with something from Moore, Ivery should be the hope.

Not necessarily. A JUCO DT should basically be a plug and play kid, someone who has two years of experience playing at a higher level than HS. No matter who we signed from HS, they wouldn't be ready to really contribute for at least a year, but more than likely two. It's kind of apples/oranges when comparing HS to JUCO.

This guy is like Gunter. Redshirted his first year. So he has 3 years left.

I agree plus I think a scholarship opened up when Williams went to Bama. I just wish this kid was an EE.
