Because this team cannot set the edge and they get totally confused with any type of presnap motion. VT put that on tape and everyone has copied it. And for whatever reason, we cannot fix it.

The formation isn't the issue but alignment definitely is. We're out manned on so many occasions and the front 7 hardly ever shifts on TE motions to match gap integrity

The alignment issue is hard to understand. Are we blind or struggle so with math that we can’t count? GT often had more blockers than we had defenders on runs to the perimeter. Doesn’t the new communication system allow for some pre-snap communication? Aren’t iPads or whatever now allowed on the sidelines for players/coaches to review plays? So, why can’t we adjust?
