I don't mind it but he called out everyone out that did not bow at Golden's feet and believe in Coach D. Now he acts like he knew the whole time how bad Coach D was.

If you felt called out, you're definitely entitled to that perspective and speaking out on it. But Franchise is equally entitled to changing his perspective as things have unfolded. My comments were more directed at a couple of hindsight ****ers on the previous page. Last I'll say on the matter.

I said I believed duke would score 20 pts. Did I say they would score 45 again like last year? no. Even if im wrong on duke, fsu and clemson are both scoring more than 20 so I rest my case. And yes fsu and clemson offenses > U*** offense

FSU and Clemson have been under their same Offensive play caller longer then Miami has under James Coley..... but i guess you cant think deep enough to realize that may have been the reason why Miami's offense wasnt "consistent" the first 2 games of the season.

LULZ. That was the classic mantra of the agenda team. Coach D went from a guy who took Temple to a top 16 defense to braindead in 2 years all because some dopey fans had agendas and axes to grind.

The anti-D'Onofrio guys are just sitting back waiting for us to have a tough game defensively so they can start shredding him again and feel like they were right about him. The egos are too big to just admit they were idiots about him. I never bashed the D, or D'nofrio. All I argued at the beginning of the season was that our D was not elite and I was called crazy for saying that we'd give up 20 points to a team this year. Yeah I know the USF game was worse than the score depicted but the final score still proved my point which is what I was talking about

OK, fine, but USF technically scoring 21 doesn't fit your argument that the defense wasn't going to be elite. The defense didn't even give up 7 of those points, and 7 more of them were scored at the final buzzer against the scout team.

I also wrote in this thread that the defense seemed good this year through the first few games, and although I knew it was because of the competition and I was realistic about expectations...I was wrong in that assumption. Our schedule was much easier this year and our D has been atrocious.

I'm not calling for anyone to be fired because thats not my place, but I love the ignorance of some posters to call people crazy at the beginning of the season for being realistic and not expecting every year to be the GOAT canes team.
