USC guilts Matt Thomas into sticking with his plan....

Exactly - he either wants to go on the visit or he doesn't. Wake me up on signing day with this kid and the rest of the So. Fla. drama queens.

This, just not a positive development that the school he'd end up selecting was a place not worthy of one of his 5 official visits. Here's hoping he changes plans for the weekend.
 
I've never seen such a disconnect between two fanbases and a recruit.....Not sure what's up with this, but I was lurking over at whorechant and they basically have him penciled in. To the point that Langston didn't even bother updating it in his last recruiting post...and when asked why he didn't he said because nothing has changed and expect him to be a seminole.

He is leaning FSU, doesn't wanna go to FSU, and wants his mom to see that that isn't the place for him, and knows that he should stay in Miami....

What I don't get is that all this throwing up the U at the all star games, and some videos where he throws up the U at all star games, you just can't take that back. When he made that huge hit on Shane Morris, his initial reaction was to throw up the U. Not the Gator Chomp, or Roll Ride, or USC or Nole bull****, he, in the heat of the moment went and threw the U.

If he goes up to FSU, he how could he come back down here and be welcomed back? Booker T recently has been a UM pipeline, and the rivalry doesn't die. He will forever be known as a nole. I just cannot see that happening.

Sure, this USC **** is disconcerting, but when you really break it down, I think he knows where he wants to go, has known, and thats at the University of Miami.

^^^thats where the disconnect lies. the semi-hoes dont understand the BTW connection. they think cus they got some overrated DE that we were not recruiting that they gonna get 6.

Understood, but this was posted prior to the USC ****. I don't know. It's very strange. I can't imagine I would ever be so confident about a 5-star kid from the heart of your rivals city.

I hope you guys are right but the signs here are not looking promising.

He's easily the most important of the remaining targets. This one is going to have us sweating up until his actual announcement.

I'm with you and I still think 6 is a CANE but I understand the concern about the OV. I am slightly worried but just cannot imagine him not being a Cane
 
My opinion but if he doesnt visit then hes not coming here. there still is a real good chance he skips the usc visit and ends up here this weekend. That stuff happens all the time.

He is our #2 back next year if he comes.

You trust RB duties to Dillard, Crawford and Clements?
 
Reasons why Mathew Thomas doesn't want to take the OV to Miami

1. Vacation
he knows he will be going to school, working hard and he is graduation high school so he wants to travel a bit with his mom and see the west coast etc.

2. In Case
after the UA game his options were unlimited so he wants to double check to see incase he is missing out on something

3. No a Cane
He doesn't want to stay in Miami, he wants to leave town and FSU is just not doing it for him. He likes Alabama (has photos plastered of him form the visit including throwing that stupid A sign) and he wants to check out USC maybe he will like it too.

remember Tracy Howard was all Florida and Golden flipped him, it can happen to us as well.

if there is no Official Visit and if the coaches were not able to convince him to take a very important Official Visit, count him out and lets not get our hops up.

as of right now

Alex Collins looks like a higher probability than Mathew Thomas.

Pete seems to have a high percentage for MT and he has more insight than any of us, but he also said he will be shocked if MT does not take the OV.

NO OV = NO MT6
 
Has Peter Ariz weighed in on this yet? Anything to soothe our nerves, Pete?
 
I think there is some confusion here. As of right now, Thomas is STILL expected to take an OV here....just not this weekend.
