Pretty sure "strength of schedule" doesn't mean **** in the NFL, MLB, and NHL.This is why college football needs to get away from the emphasis on pre-season polls, AP polls, and coach’s polls.
During the season, rank teams by wins and then point differential. See any world soccer league…3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and then goal differential.
Stop all of the fantasy and preferential team treatment nonsense. In any other sport or competitive event, no team with a loss should be ranked higher than an undefeated team. It makes no sense (however, fans of college football have accepted it as normal).
