Why? The best teams never win and it's all a small random sample size anyway.

The goal is to give yourself the best chance of winning in June. The best team rarely (if ever) actually wins it hence why I never said anything about being the best team.

That's another thing you just made up.

No one has a "best chance" when you go out of your way to establish the randomness of a small sample size. Who needs to be a national seed when Virginia and Oregon State can just "randomly" win titles? Just get to the postseason and hope that this is your lucky year.

You're just proving, again, how ignorant and incompetent you are.

Every outcome has a percentage chance of occurring. The more you get the math stacked in your favor the lower the chance of a random result.

In our case the Canes are 6-for-6 in reaching Omaha as a national seed. It matters.

The goal should always be to get a national seed and then get to Omaha. After that let the chips fall where they may.

Got it, so the randomness of college baseball only begins once you get to Omaha, where you just wait to see where the chips will fall.

That says a lot about Jim Morris from 2009-2014.

National seeds have gone 0-2 in a Regional before. Like your boys at Florida did in 2014.

Random results happen in every round.

But the likelihood is greater in neutral games including 8 teams that are (usually) closely bunched.

You are proving more and more to be a complete buffoon. You began by claiming that the event itself was the most 'UNrandom' of all. I know you'd like to take back that whopper of a claim.

Too bad.

So we are 22-4 overall and 9-2 in the conference. We are running away with the Coastal division and are a consensus Top 5 team in the country. Tool-bag Jagr (who is giving the real guy an awful name) is already predicting demise if/when we make the CWS. Jesus our fan base is awful.

Please don't generalize our fan base because of one *******!

Bases loaded for Heyward. Let's see if he can get out of the slump.

Strikes out swinging for the 100th time this year with runners in scoring position.

Thanks for posting that. Bases loaded double with 1 out by Heyward scores two now up 5-3 after 5.

Happy to help. Maybe now he will shake out of the slump he's in.

Agree he has been struggling but he did pick up Collins there

Canes win. Our record against ranked teams the last 3 weeks is 9-1
