That's what he was supposedly promised.A DB coachs position.When the guy didn't leave there was no position so they offered him something else not sure what.

But Orgeron is pretty sure that one of if not both of the DB coaches will be moving up which will open up a position for him.Thats what I was told a couple months ago.

this was all supposed have happened last year before the rule went into effect and I guess that's why the Jr is now considering other schools.

I don't know all the rules as to how and why all I know is last year Sr was promised a job cause ED was sure the guy was leaving,he didn't get the OC job he was expecting and it threw a wrench in things.

Ole Ed going to give out a DB coach position to land one DB? An elite QB, sure, but a DB? That guy is way in over his head. Will be surprised if he's still the HC at the end of the year. That Miss State *** whooping they just got is just the beginning. It's going to be a long year in Baton Rouge.
 
He's definitely in waaaay over his head.Hes already lost a bunch of the support that he had to get the job.

The big boosters were promised more of a wide open offense instead it's more of the same.If they lose 3 games this year,which they will,somebody else will be roaming the sidelines for the Tigers next year.

Well when they can't throw the ball more than 20 yards because it becomes a duck, how do you expect him to "open up" the offense?

By the way, I don't see anyone talking about the playing time perspective. We do have a loaded class with or without him coming and it also looks like we're adding Tyson Campbell at some point. That can play a huge factor into the decision making of a kid of his national ranking.

It’s pretty similar to what pete said 5 days ago(uga making a push and has some family members in Atlanta , osu confidence has leveled off after it was high in the summer . Said some close to the program feels uga is on his mind the most right now, and he added while there is some confidence in coral gables with Campbell it’s concerning he hasn’t visited since April(his opinion)

Pete said this will be more of a Miami vs uga battle than a Miami vs bama battle and that Miami leads and his prediction remains on us 5 days ago pretty much.

Pete been right through this whole thing, when Campbell visited Clemson he said they would drop down his list and shortly after he said that publicly... Pete knows what is going on more than Luke Stampini in this recruitment who can’t seem to understand that Miami is in a good spot with Campbell

This. A team can hire surtain jr as a special teams coach this upcoming January and sign surtain jr. Campbell the better prospect anyway imo

Same thing that happened with Michael and Jontay Porter at Mizzou.. Dad got hired as an asst then they both committed.

As well as 1 or 2 of the other incoming DBs. We really lack talent back there right now and all spots will be open for a FR to come in and play. Thus far, Malek Young looks like the only current guy who could hold onto his spot.

naw he really doesn't. he's sunshine pumping for clicks. you look at his actual comments and he doesn't put any hope into them. just says that UF will keep pushing which is obviously true. Just like Miami will keep pushing for surtain even though every reasonable fan knows its very unlikely.
