I've asked what's up with the Surtains and Rumph? Rumph hired Pat and recommended him for the position. Rumph's also doing well here as a coach. Based on what we've seen publicly, why aren't we a real player? Does the kid just want to leave the area? FFS, he has the gaytors in his top 6. They suck.

None of it adds up to me. That's why it would be a major failure for us if this guy goes somewhere other than LSU. I think this purported obsession with a failing LSU is retarded, but if that's legit then I can almost live with it. If he goes anywhere other than LSU then it's a major failure for us.

From someone who knows his family pretty well, they're super close. So I doubt that Jr. is dying to leave the area.

We beat FSU and LSU stumbles down the stretch of the season we will be in this kids top 3.. beating FSU is the ultimate if we want a chance with this kid.. if he's not locked in with LSU as strong as has been reported i like our chances to finish strong and maybe snag him LATE

spike is the least knowledgeable guy around. zero football/recruiting acumen. the surtain's have money, so it seems. i doubt they are swayed to send their kid to a school for 50k or whatever. i can understand a kid/family with no money who have never had any luxury, but, i doubt jr has ever lacked for anything or hasn't been able to afford anything he's wanted.

I would like to think that if PS2 had seriously made up his mind about LSU he would have commit by now.. so he could wear the LSU gloves in his HS games and do the whole gloves forming logo thing.. i'm holding out hope that was all over exaggerated and if i'm right i don't see how Miami wouldn't be a player in his recruitment..

Its not a failure. If the dude has no interest there isnt much you can do. I bet the staff is going after him but if he isnt showing the interest then what can they do to make him want to be here?

This. A team can hire surtain jr as a special teams coach this upcoming January and sign surtain jr. Campbell the better prospect anyway imo

That might have been who it was.I tried to call my buddy to ask him who it was and re explain it to me.He told me about this months ago.
