Do you expect TVD to issue a similar statement today? Even if he did, TVD is currently the face of the program, Van Der Brock isn't GA's. The culture is here is changing but still very fragile. You can't compare the impact, it's not the same.

The 2020 team would have easily won 10 games if they had played the original, non-covid schedule. mostly because you would have replaced the Clemson *** whipping with a freebie win against an FCS team. Was that a good team? By Miami's recent standards, yes. By the fans' standards, not really.

We were lucky to win 8 games that yr. Maybe u forgot the NC St, VT, & UVA games.

I'd speculate Ruiz is an outsized part of Miami's NIL, but not the whole structure (Top Team, Soffers, Lemonis, etc., etc. etc.)
