The plus side is you earn more respect from your staff and players that no one player is bigger than the team type of mindset. Also might lead into some leeway with the 2023 season if Miami isn't able to get a [perceived] upgrade or lateral movement at QB in the portal. The fall back can be "well, you saw what happened to their projected starter in the spring, how can you blame them for struggling".

Yeah, and while I'm not mad at you personally, I am pretty ****ed off with 18 months of Gaytor Board bull**** about how John Ruiz is throwing millions at all these top-recruit kids, when the truth is that he is spreading the money out to benefit a wide variety of UM student-athletes.

8 wins in a 10 game regular season with none of them against FBS opponents is pretty solid. The 2020 team would have easily won 10 games if they had played the original, non-covid schedule. mostly because you would have replaced the Clemson *** whipping with a freebie win against an FCS team. Was that a good team? By Miami's recent standards, yes. By the fans' standards, not really.
