No one calls it beantown dip****

It’s called PR. Bull **** consistently gets leaked on both sides. That’s legit the purpose of sites like this is to create and control a narrative!

Whatever clearly you don’t have much going on in your life considering you’ve posted on this site over 33,000(!!!) times

Miami can do no wrong in your eyes! Never!
Once again this helps nobody. Everyone looks bad, from Bama to Miami on down to Tvd. There’s no winners.

let's be real about this. Mario probably ruined TVD's career last year. hired a horrible OC, put bad talent around him... an absolute nightmare season for a potential high draft pick at QB. the only way it could've gone worse for TVD would be if he had suffered a career ending injury. instead all we did was **** up his throwing shoulder.

the fact that TVD was even going to come back this year told me one thing: that there wasn't a more attractive scenario available to him in the portal. because why would he come back and play for a coach who in all likelihood ended his chances of being a pro quarterback? so if TVD actually does have real options in the portal... why wouldn't he bounce? he played two seasons here, he doesn't owe Miami anything. he certainly doesn't owe Mario anything. Shane Dawson and Colbie Young are dime a dozen as far as OCs and no 1 WRs go.

can anyone articulate a single reason for TVD to stay beyond loyalty to a bad football program? my one response would simply be if Ruiz pays him more money than he could get elsewhere. but even still if I was TVD I'd be thinking really hard about whether that short term money was worth the possibility that my future prospects are damaged even further.
Don’t know his options but Notre dame was supposedly one of them. Mario promised him the offense would be different and that he would upgrade the talent around him

Kids put themselves in these kind of spots and it happens everywhere. That ain't gonna change no matter what staff comes around. Honestly onion is the only one (in this whole losing era)who attempted this from the right perspective. He flat out shut down phones and social media. We need less access to the program, not far more.
A year ago or so, I got destroyed in a thread for posting something similar with our kids and social media.
Plenty of us have been told y'all he's not much of a leader and inside the locker room the players were on Jakes side.
They believe in Brown now. I guess it’s just a coincidence.

I can’t believe y’all got your panties in a bunch over this. The weakness permeating throughout this whole thread is sickening.

Man TF up!!! We either step and give Tyler what he wants or move on. The show will go on regardless. There is so much positivity around program and the direction we are heading.
Relax He-Man, it's a discussion board and this is significant

I’m sure he had plenty of comments. Just none on the record.

That was a wicked takedown from the Hub.

Did I say it right?

Thank you!!! That’s the point I am making! This looks terrible across the board! TVD looks bad for asking for more money at the time he did. And then Miami/lifewallet look bad for the reasons I mentioned. Then Bama looks bad for tampering/poaching

That is why I called it amateur hour

CB.. I held my own in Broward county as a freshman. True story here... In high school after I moved to TN we went to play West HS in Knoxville, probably the fastest team in the state that year. Probably 80% black guys. Coach made me wear black leggings, black sleeves, gloves, and a face/neck cover and switched jersey numbers with our other starting corner, same last name but, who was slow and they knew couldn't cover their top guy. Knew they probably wouldn't throw my way because I had 9 interceptions on the year. So we basically shut down both sides of the field in the pass game. Reported the number switch on the roster and everything and they didn't check it to know.

Sadly Manny Diaz was calling our D that game and they had 4 different guys run for 100+ on us that day so it didn't matter.
I was just busting your balls

Agents leak in pro sports all The time but this situation helps nobody. Miami already knows TVD wants more. Miami also knows he’s being tampered with. Bama doesn’t want it out because , well they’re potentially tampering. There’s a reason this stuff stays in house at every program. There’s no honor amongst thieves but they all know everyone does it. Nobody wins with this getting out. Everyone looks bad and TVD looking the worst.

This was purely Miami media doing what they do.
Why do you think things are different here? It always seems like UM business is out there.

How does this hurt bama ? Only way it hurts them is if he goes over there and be terrible
Hurt in a few different ways. Tampering for one, giving up on the QBs on the roster before the Spring game could cause their own portal/locker room issues, etc.

In the grand scheme of things, it hurts Miami way more.

For you tax cats...

technically aren't collectives in violation of NIL rules?

or does just NCAA look other way?

and yes...my comments are based from the outside optics....Ruiz appears to suck up all tje oxygen in whatever space he occupies (good or bad)...that would artificially obscure the "behind the scenes" players who also take a role...

First, the contributions into a collective are not "charitable contributions" under the definition.

Second, the expenses incurred by the collectives...might be questioned by the IRS as "not valid 'ordinary & necessary' business deductions".

This is brand new territory. Normally, when you incorporate and have revenue/expenses, you are supposed to have a profit motive. Not yet sure whether the payouts to players will be viewed as deductible. Collectives are a weird, mangy mix of "corporate" and "not-for-profit" motivations.

Might have to hire EVEN MORE staff at the IRS to sort through this one!

:ROFLMAO:

I think Jalen Milroe could be really good. Not sure why Bama feels the need to throw bags at TVD although I do genuinely believe TVD would set himself up to be a round 1-3 pick if he left to Bama and stayed healthy.
