I’ll defer to you. In the words of one wise woman, “ain’t nobody got time for dat”

They do need to revise the free transfer rule. Not within your first year unless the HC bolts. Kids signing in December and dipping by February has to stop.

I don't disagree at all. Clearly, it will take a year or two for the "newer harsher Waiver rules" to impact the decision-making process, but you are right about setting some sort of minimum time prior to being able to use the "one free transfer".

I'm just pointing out that the new policy exists. Of course, some of these kids are just flat-out stupid and think they are going to charm the NCAA into granting a waiver.

Can't account for bad decision-making.

Darrell Jackson just did exactly that -
Year 1 - Maryland
Year 2 - Miami
Year 3 - FSU

Yeah, but Year 3 was with a family health emergency Waiver.

Of course, if the kid cracks the books and works hard, there's always the Grad-Transfer year...

44 pages later and I still don't know what's up with TVD 🤔 giphy (3).gif

ooops guess third

I posted his scenario

21-Maryland
22-Miami
23-FSU

If he leaves again, would have to use his RS more than likely unless he gets degree

24-RS
25-????
I think it works for 3 years and out unless it’s a grad transfer. These guys can do 3 teams in 3 years. That’s pretty fluid. They’re really not sitting. If you can’t turn pro after year three you stay at the last school, otherwise you’re gone.

did he even get a waiver yet? The basketball portal is nuts as several guys are looking for the 4th stop
