I agree wholeheartedly with your post. I think it’s more TVD is the best of the worst in the QB room and him/his representation is trying to take advantage of that opportunity. It’s also Miami’s fault that they do not have a better backup option. If they did I don’t believe TVD does this.

It’s because the NCAA can do absolutely nothing about it, and even if they could they won’t because it’s Alabama. They’ve always been selective on enforcement, it’s partly why they are currently being phased out completely.
 
Maybe if Alabama tries to provide a dinner to TVD, the NCAA will finally go ballistic. It seems to be a recurring theme with them that the heinously disgusting act of giving a young adult food is far worse than tampering with scholarship athletes and directly violating rules and procedures from numerous angles

Woo boy, don't even get me started on if it's TWO dinners, because doing something or saying something twice is sufficient enough for key evidence if it happens in South Florida

Agreed. But it doesn’t stop other schools from trying to expose our tactics to potentially disuade us from raiding their roster again.

I’m just saying whether you are doing the f^kcing or getting f^ked, you need a PR strategy to defend your position. Looking the other way just makes you vulnerable for more attacks.
 
Maybe they already have it, but the NCAA needs to install negotiating windows like the NFL has. It would be a mess because it’s NIL and not a player contract, but this **** is crazy

I mean, how many times have we seen posts from insiders suggesting that Miami is in contact with players on other teams that have not entered the portal. This potentially sucks, but stones, glass houses and such...

Right, but the national media hops on those too. They wouldn’t dare bring this up though.

Separate the haves (professional teams mostly SEC and Big Ten Schools) and have nots (Mostly Big 12, ACC and PAC 12 with some of the other schools not in the power 5). I personally believe Miami is a tweener. Somewhere between big time and the rest. It sucks, but that is reality. Yep credit to the SEC they’ve found a way to cheat and continue to cheat without getting caught and when they do get caught the smaller schools in their conference are the patsies…

Maybe I should use my masters degree from UF to do something to bring them down since I’m considered an alumni…🤔
