This is all it is. As to how it is worked out, we will see.Sure. These kids talk. If he’s just trying to get his money enough kids probably know. And if it’s somewhat murky, let’s be real, 96% of thee kids would do the same. It’s a business now. It’s NFL. It’s different.
We all need to zoom out and take a breathe and look at it from a business perspective. The game has changed.
Btw the reason you’re the only one I’ve replied to in this thread if you’re one of the few people who’s perspective I respect. I enjoy dialoguing with you.
No they can't."Bama could win a championship with TVD..."
I missed that, thanks for letting me know. Good to know we have a plan in place.go back to D$ post.. there is a plan worked out.. perhaps a better QB then him
why am I more interested that the basketball team just picked up a 6'7 guard from Switzerland?
How do your guys want to even play for you if this is in fact true and he’s entertaining the idea? SmhThis should have never been put out, but anyway:
1) I think it will get worked out. Miami wants him back.
2) If it doesn’t, there is a plan in place that would ease everyone’s pain if completed.
because they didn't want to put in the work....I didn't say it, multiple guys that left said it. I guess we see why they left
No need to use such vulgar language, friend!
Might I suggest opening up a bottle of champagne and enjoying a nice Mimosa? You’ll feel much better afterwards!
No, I don't understand. Yes, it's money. Maybe they offered him $1M. Or $1B. Who cares what the amount is. It's irrelevant.Bama could win a championship with TVD, and right now we're long shots in the ACC...
I would understand if he left for an opportunity to shine, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
Garcia was everyone's "bro". The fan base loved him for his personalityThe players likes Garcia more but he wasn’t better than TVD and now he’s not exactly setting the world on fire at Mizzou.
Any next of kin you’d like us to notifyI do understand it if he chooses to bounce. It's an amazing opportunity and anyone who is being honest would admit it's a better situation. Young man only has so much time to play.
As for loyalty, there isn't any these days. I'm not even sure there should be. NIL and transfer rules have led to this and as everyone has only 4 years to play, you better take advantage of it.
What we do after this should it happen, obviously bring in a starter level QB. ****, I'd look for two unless you really believe that at some point Williams or Brown are serviceable backups.
As for my thoughts on TVD, he had one **** of a streak two years back. That shows what he's capable of. With an average defense, the right coordinator, he will get drafted and high at that. Last year, he did get injured, came back, but after a few hits he didn't want anymore. I didn't like the look, but I understood it since we weren't winning **** and he was one hit away from another injury.
Lastly, I don't think this would be an indictment about anything here. Bama is just another level and it's the right call if the offer to come over is legit. Tampering, ****, nobody cares about that and everyone does it.
Save us, Louis Cristobal
Man gon wit dat bull****! I almost wrecked my **** car! Man we would be super ***ED UP!!!!!
And if it doesn't, than Mario should just leave. Because there's no point to coaching a Miami Hurricanes team that is simply a farm system for other schools. Let's say Jacorri suddenly emerges...why wouldn't USC offer him $10M to go there in 2024? And then in the 2024 season, what if Emory blows up? That's simple, A&M sends a feeler in December for $18M and he departs after a season. This is all it is. As to how it is worked out, we will see.
But don’t forget people that Isiah Wong was threatening to leave last year because of the NIL deal Pack received.
Long and short, this is about nothing more than NIL. If we can pay, we will recruit and keep good players. If we cannot pay, we will lose out.
I have to believe that Mario had good control over the NIL issues before accepting the job.
After all, what would be the point of leaving a university with deep NIL money, Oregon, to come to a school that can’t compete in NIL? That would make no sense. Especially for a methodical person like Mario.
This is actually a good test of our NIL program. Let’s see if we are one of big boys, or adjust a little brother hoping for scraps.
It reads like 2 is in motion independent of 1.This should have never been put out, but anyway:
