I'm still not sure if he's good or not. He often looks good and his numbers reflect it, but then, he'll make the occasional stupid throw. Not like Cam overextending and trying to make a play out of nothing, but Ewers just makes some head scratching throws in the course of the regular action.

From most sources Miami had no interest in Mensah. The staff is very high on its QB room. We will add a QB, but it will either be a one and done superstar like Cam or depth. It will not be Ewers. I think they would love Haynes King if that was an option and the injury was not bad.

I kind of feel the same way...if they want to give Williams a fair shot you don't bring a guy that may have a couple or so years of eligibility remaining, unless it's maybe a sure fire thing. More than likely a one and done star and that gives Williams a fair shot to compete for backup next year and then be the bridge for Nickle the following year.
