How am I strung out? You went from saying he sucked, to he had the job in name only — to finally landing at the obvious, that he benefited being associated with Taylor. Obviously he benefited from being the OC of a team that’s had a lot of success lately. They typically don’t hire OCs from bad teams.
I never said he sucked. I said he used Taylor's offense and his father's name to get a HC gig. Nate Hackett was another guy that was "instrumental" helping Lafleur install offense.

As a Bucs fan I’m happy Baker Mayfield was able to escape Cleveland and revitalize his career. Quite a comeback story. Took him a few seasons and detours thru Carolina and a cup of coffee with the Rams but he seems to be happy and productive in Tampa Bay. Still throws the occasional awful interception, but the Bucs could be far far worse off. They’re in a good spot at that position for the next few seasons anyway.
This is exactly what a failure the Giants have been since that bum gettleman took over and schoen got free reign. Only the (all lowercase)giants would play to win a meaningless game when they have the #1 pick rapped up. It's simple common sense. Even if you say you got several options you use the leverage to trade down if you want from 1 and still get what you need. Like Danny devito or drew not a locke should be an option.
Tbh I don't mind him, he gets his players to play hard and has done some good work in Tennessee with an organization that doesn't really appear to know what they need to do. He essentially just got fired because ownership and him were not on the same page anymore.

Uhh they will do that with all the players. The good thing going for Cam is they will also be looking at his Game Changing plays and he has a lot of them.
Did you watch Hard Knocks Offseason with the giants?
I don't see much difference between this class and last especially at QB. Williams Matt end up being a different caliber of player. But from knowing allot of sc people I'll just say there was plenty of red flags with him. Following Daniels was similar. Personally I think Cam is a much better prospect than Sanders especially considering his growth from year to year. However he still has to get much better with ball security & has to dial it back with the risks he's willing to take. It's a tricky slope with Cam though because those risks he's willing to take are a large part of why he's so good. I also have to acknowledge shaduer has gotten significantly better over the years as well. I just don't see him as being as advanced or as having the same kind of upside . Just depends what your looking for at the position because he could be the safer bet.
