Titans land #1 draft pick and Cam goes #1

Until further notice???

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, some scouts aren't projecting Sanders as a Round 1 pick following his senior season at Colorado.

"I've already talked to people within the league who don't have anything close to a first-round grade on the guy," Pelissero said about Sanders on Friday's episode of the Rich Eisen Show.

Pelissero continued: "The idea that he's just going to walk in and going to be the No. 1 pick, that's probably pushing it... if I were guessing who comes off the board first, I'd say Shedeur is not the first Colorado player off the board as it stands today."
Doesn't matter what one or a few people think...some team is dumb enough to waste a high first round pick on him. I mean just off the top of my head the Browns and Raiders come to mind...then there's the Giants

Ideal outcome is now Titans draft Shadeur, Raiders trade pick 6 and next years 1st for pick 2 to Browns and draft Ward.
Browns are a year ahead of schedule for when they can move on from Deshaun Watson. They may be willing to trade down and load up on some picks for next season.
And most importantly get the best Offensive HC we can.

Stefanski just has to get the OC hire right. Seems like he’s a good coach and you know their defense will be good. If they can get the right OC and pair him with Cam I think they could be pretty good.
He’s had 3 OCs in 3 years and he’s supposed to be an offensive guy. Nothing about the Browns’ history with QBs leaves me wanting Cam to end up there.

As a Titans fan, I don’t want Cam at 1. He just ain’t that type of prospect in my opinion. I don’t see a huge arm and his hero ball won’t work nearly as much in the pros. If we keep the first pick, I want Abdul Carter.

That was a name based job only. Zach Taylor is the mastermind behind that offense.
I’m a Bengals fan. It’s Taylor’s offense but Callahan was definitely known as the top assistant and integral to gameplanning. It definitely wasn’t name based job.

Wrong. The pass game was better than ever, but you’re also in Year 3 of Burrow and Chase together. The running game was bottom 3 in the league, which also made them have to pass more.
So the passing game was better without him. You lost a premiere rb in Mixon so the running production drop off was to be expected. He is no offensive wizard. Burrow, Chase and Higgins (then with Mixon) would make most coordinators look excellent. He just isn’t a very good head coach and they should can him and move on.

Mixon definitely isn’t a premiere running back lol. They cut him because the run game sucked and he sucked at pass pro which limited the offense. But you realize Taylor called plays, right?

Im not sure why you are so strung out on this argument. Taylor is the engine Callahan (the son of a coaching legend) benefitted from being associated with Taylor. He wasn't the brains behind the offense and that is the main issue.
