Time To Move On From Holloman?

Knew this would be a tough pull. Looks like we got trolled a bit. Kid had a ton of pressure to stay home and like I've said before I will never blame a kid for staying home. Wish he didn't troll the **** out of us and get our hopes up, but that's kind of how this recruiting **** goes. Also, just once I'd like for us to have momma on our side and stop a SFL stud from leaving home. Alas...

Is what it is. Was always going to be a tough pull. Not a smart move for the kid though. I'm not sure why a big time WR would go there. The guy trusted to turn you into a polished wide out is James Coley. Your HC is probably in over his head.

Not sure I believe the he wants to be here part. Just damage control, if he wanted to be here he would have at least out of courtesy had them in-home. Very disrespectful to say we are a top school then cancel your in-home when the staff is already in town.

Not saying we were his number 1 choice, but clearly something happened in last 24 hours for them to cancel two visits on the same day. That's mot "official visit didn't go as well as hoped" actions.

Staff better get back in contact with Dingle. Chasing after Jeudy and Smith seems futile. I fear a Golden/Shannon like end to wr recruiting this year.

There's a commercial from the 80s that ends with an indian crying as he looks over a highway with lots of cars driving by. That's what I want Holloman to be doing after Miami beats UGA in the bowl game. And his momma too.

Wow. Text I just got.

"Mom won. Kid wants to be here"

Just knew it man. Can't fault her though, she wants her son home close

I fault her. It's his life. He's turning 18 or already there. He has a right to choose his path unless she's paying for it.

Not only that, but for all intents and purposes she's selfishly forcing him into the wrong decision. Who knows what the future will tell us, but as of now she's persuading him into choosing the school with an inferior position coach, inferior head coach, and inferior offense that'll limit his growth. If he does well it'll be in spite of his surroundings.

Selfish and short sighted. Way to go, mom.

Probably boils down to tuition cost for his brother. Miami tuition is really high and I believe that Georgia is helping his brother out with that...? Either way it seems like a done deal now. Sucks.

I'm not worried about WR with:

Ahmon Richards
Lawrence Cager
Dionte Mullins
Dayall Harris
Evidence Njoku
Mike Harley

We should be very concerned:

1) Harley is not apart of this class yet, so counting him in is premature
2) Harris can't catch a pass beyond 10 yards
3) We have no idea how Cager will come back from that knee injury
4) Will Mullins finally get the playbook down???
5) Where's the depth if Richards goes down??

We need a monster WR class, not just on pure numbers, but on skill and game breaking ability as well for the long term health of the program.

Fcking BS if true. What type of mom does that ****? And you cancel the day staff is in town, with no time in advance for us to make another stop elsewhere. Very disgusting ........
