Take it for what it's worth, last night on the radio, "The Beast" said there is more to this, and anyone who thought Thomas and Kirkland were a package deal and best buds are wrong. He said that Thomas still having an offer and Kirkland not having an offer is indicative of there being a reason beyond what is being discussed for the offer being revoked.

He also issued a warning to Canes fans saying, don't be surprised if some of the uncommitted kids who UM is in the running for choose SEC schools because they simply can not "afford" not to. I just wish that people who supposedly know things would just put it out there and just say who the guilty parties are, instead if issuing blanket statements.

What more do you want spelled out. Kid was on the take from an SEC, Golden found out about it, sent Barrows to investigate, Barrows met first with Ice to relay the info and requested 3 way private meeting with kid and Ice, Barrow wanted to test the rumor and asked him to commit on spot, when kid said NO, Golden had to cut the kid loose. With the NCAA investigation about to be closed he can not take any risks with more dirty money. Ice was just protecting his kid. That is the deal.

Its definitely all about the U, but as you see with rockets user name these city schools stick together. You listen to the interview I dont see how anyone can blame Ice, dude would not try to ***** UM over, that is crazy talk. I know some of you are not clued in so dont make certain comments trying to knock the man. Sounds like it was a big misunderstanding and Denver got the short end. Ice is gonna protect the kid because thats his job, Not sure if denver handled it a certain way or if there is more to it but coach Ice is as stand up as they come and he helps alot of kids go to school, not just his D1 guys like alot of coaches but other kids also.

i'm telling you like it sounds to me the kid was dirty especially with Ole Miss jumping into the picture. He was using us as a bargaining chip to up the ante bc everybody thought he was coming here and he lost his chip and ship. Ice is protecting his kid but he knows what's up and I don't think it has any effect on the Thomas situation. now a kid down the road I can see things happening . .

I don't have any issue with Golden and the staff here. They asked him privately to commit. He could wait publicly but the staff didn't want to be left waiting at the altar if this kid picked another school. So they asked him privately to commit. When he said he would not the staff said they were moving on. I think it's a smart play by Golden and co. Waiting until signing day and ending up with nothing is exactly what got the previous two coaches fired.

In the interview Ice said he asked DK if you wanted him to call UM up and try to do just that, and he said DK had moved on. I'm paraphrasing of course. If this is the case, it's another indicator DK wasn't headed to The U anyway.

Just heard the interview....notice the part where Harris talks about asking Kirkland if he wanted him to call Golden and get it fixed and he said no thanks, he had moved on. Kid wasn't coming, staff knew it. Staff didn't want to get jerked around. Ice is hurt that we didn't wait it out, that's fine, but from what he said I don't think UM did anything wrong. I also suspect that the staff knew this for a while now (Hence Ferman's info).

Its pretty simple to me. Ice Harris told our staff this kid was coming and we wanted to confirm with him. He wanted to keep playing games. Watch the video below to get a feel for how this kid presents himself. Frankly, this kid should have been beating down our door not the other way around. Our coaches called his bluff and I commend them for it. On Ice Harris....his actions are embarrassing. His interview this morning was incoherent....if he is the ambassador to S. Florida HS football we are in trouble. The guy can barley form a complete thought.

Nothing here makes sense, yesterday was January 31st or 6 days till NSD. Are people telling me that the kid couldn't commit to a school 6 days before NSD?

If a kid wants to go to Miami, but cannot commit 6 days before NSD, then does he really "want" to go to Miami. Is something else going on?

Yeah, that he really didn't want to come.

I think he's just butthurt he won't get to punk the []_[] on signing day now.
