Duke sucks. This is a team that just lost a football game where they won the turnover battle SIX TO NOTHING. Same Manny defense with less talent than he had here. Their offense is FSU levels of bad.

People keep talking about this being Manny’s revenge game, but I think this is Mario’s revenge game. You listen to his pressers and it’s clear he’s ******* ****ed about what Manny did to this program. He’s done everything but call Manny a ******* loser that ran this program into levels of talent deficiency we haven’t seen since the Pell Grant scandal.

But he was discussing how when you take over a program it’s either because the last coach did really well and moved on, or it’s because the last coach did a bad job and you have a lot to fix. Then went on to say something like (paraphrase) “when I got here obviously things were pretty bad”

Usually you don’t see that from coaches but it was a direct shot without saying his name

I thought of the same score so I’ll go 38-16 so as not to be redundant. Not that I Cara Lott, but I figured you ‘d have as many vintage **** star references as we had laterals in a certain game against Duke. I still see that Duke head coach who looked like he was the fish general from Star Wars going apoplectic because he thought Whozits knee was down.

I can’t say I’ve followed Manny since he left, the only thing I remember about his defense here is how he telegraphed his blitzes. He’d send guys from Biscayne Blvd. and everyone and his brother could see it coming. I tuned in to the Duke/SMU game the last few minutes and that was pure Manny. Collapse with a Chippy field goal blocked and then a massive I’m The Smartest Guy In The Room fail by inexplicably going for two and effing it up. Not to worry, the Duke fans had all left to either go to Cameron to watch midnight basketball practice, or to the library, to work on a paper.

Speaking of working on a paper, could someone in the UM math department come up with a course, the Geometry of Football, and make it required for our defensive guys? Thanks.

And now for a musical interlude…

lol I have, if Manny has half a brain if he will run some designed QB runs and at the least tell him to take off if his 1st read isn’t there.
