I’ve been reading entirely too much positive energy about this guy this week. Soft *** slumpy shouldered low testosterone posters talking about “oh I think he deserved a participation trophy!” “He tried!”

**** that. This is the guy that was cucked by Butch Davis on national TV in literally the most tragic loss I’ve ever seen (yes worse than MTSU worse than Virginia etc)

Go back and look at his 2020 recruiting class (2019 actually worse) if you really want to torture yourself (we did get X)

THIS is why we hand Duke a prison pounding that would make their Lacrosse team blush:

Cam: Last week might have been my favorite game Cam has played this year. Why? Because of what he said. His speech at halftime about not being happy. His press conference after the game where he said “no one is satisfied with our performance”. THAT is what has been missing here for years. Beating FSU by 22 thoroughly outclassing them was simply not good enough

Arroyo: he’s been quiet lately but he’s still one of the most dangerous TEs in the country. Manny Diaz spreads his defense faster for a TE than Jenna Jameson for a paycheck. His defenses can be exploited on a level not seen since Diddy and teenage R&B prodigies

Martinez: we’ve been waiting for that. Reading our dumbass fans talking about how he lacks vision had to be some of the most absurd **** this board has ever conjured up. Buddy has been trucking people like Nice, France back in 2016. Manny gets a train run on him that would make Annabel Chong jealous

Lofton: Slowly he’s been getting more and more involved and I expect a little gadget dialed up for him this week. Manny will stunt and twist and blitz his way right into an easy score for Elijah


Verdict: I’ve seen people say this game will be like FSU. I disagree. For as much as I don’t like Manny, he’s not a ***** like Norvell. He feels he was unfairly fired and has always been Uber aggressive. I think they come out firing but our talent will overwhelm them eventually

Disagree!! Manny will be Manny!! We are going to NC all over him this week!! We have seen his defense, we know how to beat it!! RUN RUN and then wheel routes and misdirection with speed Downtown Sammy Brown!! 2TD long plays!! Damien with 200yards 50-10Canes!!
 
I think Duke is a bit more aggressive than FSU and that should lead to a faster paced game with more possessions.

Just more opportunities to score on Manny

Well if Manny feels he was unfairly fired, I think Mario feels a type of way by how Manny left Miami. 45-24 Canes! Run it right at them, then run counter run plays just like NC did!

I usually am right there with you and agree here completely

I’ve undersold our offense quite a bit this year and a little bit of superstition comes into my score picks, but also our defense is hard to wrap my mind around. Manny will throw a lot at us and I have no doubts he will empty the clip which could give us problems at first, OR it could backfire and we roll up 60

We jump out to a lead and Malik Murphy is gonna turn it over and it could get ugly ugly

I think the clip itself would do it more justice because the way he said it adds a lot of context

But he was discussing how when you take over a program it’s either because the last coach did really well and moved on, or it’s because the last coach did a bad job and you have a lot to fix. Then went on to say something like (paraphrase) “when I got here obviously things were pretty bad”

Usually you don’t see that from coaches but it was a direct shot without saying his name

I could also be reading way too much into it but I don’t think so

It's almost as if 8-0 is too good to be true.

And we're just waiting on a disappointment.

But I truly feel like we're that good on offense and our defense is good enough to give our offense a chance.
