I'm not gonna compare JT to anyone, but that first punt return, holy ish!! Smooth cuts, great vision and the whole time I don't think he even ran full speed.

Because it's spring. Depth chart in the beginning of spring has nothing to do with production or thought on where they eventually play. Right has told yall that last year. Line up is based off of off season factors (academics,Matt drills,weight room,film study etc.) It's nothing but a feeling out process. Only different if we already had a set sterter.

Thats how the depth chart is usually set up in the first few practices. Spring is almost over and allison was still 3rd team. If dude is looking that good why wouldnt richt give him reps with a better unit to see what he can do?

Come on my man. You posted the same thing 3x now. Don't go all Broke on us. That's the first time I have taken a shot at Brock by the way, and you. Our QB situation won't be decided this spring and maybe not even until somewhere during the season. We all need to accept that. My $0.02.

Lol I meant to put the first two in the same post but botched it, oh well. And I respect Dee but I'm still not buying it. I know none of the QBs have looked great, but it's been made pretty clear that Allison has been third behind Rosier and Shirreffs all spring. If that ends up being wrong I'll have no issue with eating crow, but one guy saying something that contradicts literally everyone else just doesn't add up. We'll see.

I need all the info I can get, I like Jack but was disappointed that he wasn't the man based on what was reported.

Allison didn't get hurt until the end of the third week and it was reported by multiple people(including Pete) that Allison was lagging behind Rosier and Shirreffs going into that scrimmage.

As far as it being early in spring, it isn't. Tomorrow starts the final week of spring ball as far on-field official practices are concerned. Pete can tell us whatever the latest is but he has said himself Allison was lagging behind and getting less reps with the ones. Pretty much said his injury didn't mean that much because he was a definite 3rd on the depth chart.

I'm curious how many of these people reporting that (seriously I'm curious cause I don't know the answer) have actually been to our practices over consistently. We have closed practices that only certain media attends small portions of it. Past that it's mainly former players. Not sure where they get it. Anyways I'm just clueless. Let's run with sheriffs wins the job no matter what coaches actually have said & what it means for the team moving forward. Pete ask some players about sheriffs when you get bored. We don't even see him completing passes on a regular. So our running game better be beyond dominant.

sht-by 2020 or even 19-bring bama's *** on-time to shut their meddling down when it comes to this cherry picking. and here's the truth on saban-1st sign of them dipping, he will dip i would guarantee it. he's shown that in the past & no need to think other wise. before he goes through a couple mediocre seasons, he'll quit 1st so what he's accomplished, he will be praised for. you can look at the start of their recruiting class. they have 4 commits right now- 2 4*'s & 2 3*'s- usually by now bama has commits like we do & are at or near the top. sht is changing there & if bama has a couple losses this year & the recruiting looks like it's weakening, saban won't even be the coach in 2020-i sure hope he is though- we will be in our prime in 19 & dam sure ready for them in 20.

@Brooklyndee is as legit as it gets.

My take on the QBs is that Perry will have a great shot to win the job. Nobody is running away with it. Shirreffs is inconsistent and doesn't drive the ball, Rosier doesn't have it and Jack (while the best passer by far) still doesn't process as fast as we need him to IMO. If Perry is the real deal, he will have an opportunity to be the guy.

The good news is we have a strong team, so none of the QBs will have to do too much.
