Any update on qb situation post scrimmage Saturday? Were the qbs as bad as the #s and is Evan still out in front? Thanks! Great work as always

Evans never been out in front. He's being put out in front because were angling for a possible nightmare & keeping our dip**** fans from the usual implosion. Only reason we talk him is Malik is God awful,case is horribly erratic & is struggling with even basic throws,testaverde is a non factor,we don't know what to expect out of nkosi till he gets here & we still don't know the severity of jacks situation between his shoulder & the concussion. It should heal up well but he suffered a separation. With separations it's all about the tendons moving forward. Either way our qb will be either jack or nkosi.

Jack is getting 3rd team reps to keep the fans from having an implosion. They're just giving Evan the most reps to keep the fans quiet.

Where have you seen that he's been running with the 2s ALL spring? All I've seen is that Owens I believe is giving him a run for his money. Not that he has been 2nd string all spring. But I've also seen that he sometimes takes reps off which is why the coaches would possibly feel motivated to give him a kick in the ***.

Pickney post practice videos sometimes on ig and everyone has been with the 2 unit pretty much

I follow him on insta and he has literally posted like two or three videos, and it's always only one play ... Pinckney has certainly ran with the 2s at times but he hasn't been 2nd string all spring bro. Even if he were running 2nd all spring, it only indicates something about him and nothing about how much number of reps means in the spring, because Shaq and McCloud have been running with the 1s.. and so have the rest of the starters. Even the o-line, which they started the spring off moving everyone around on, has mostly solidified and has the same guys running with the 1s every practice. So yeah the depth chart and the number of reps with each string clearly matters

Are your team predictions as accurate as your recruiting predictions?

Don't mean to throw shade dude, but the idea of putting out that info because of the fans is beyond moronic. And having a projected, inexperienced starter take fewer reps with the 3rd team (especially oline) is soooo moronic its Golden. If Richt is actually doing that sh@T, then this program is cursed.

Futhermore, i think its safe to say that the fans care more about winning football games than the name on the back of the QB jersey while the winning is going on.

I can see where off season effort solidifies your spot through the first scrimmage. Jack never got a chance to rebound after that.

Richt has stated there is separation, and in that case if Allison were head and shoulders above (or even equal to) Evan and Malik, he would be getting at least the same amount of reps with the first team. I want to believe you, but man you're literally the only person saying this so I just can't go with it.

And you can't say number of reps doesn't matter, because that just isn't true. It may be "only spring," but they're still installing plays. It makes no sense to give someone less reps if they're really in the race.

Pretty sure Pete has even said Allison was running third before the injury.

Y'all get some dame defensive.... nobody said jeff Thomas is or will be better than devin hester.... however it's not a shot or crazy to think his game film and game breaking ability isn't comparable.... the way he cuts without losing any speed is unreal. Probably was the best route runner in the 2017 class, most explosive and ran a 4.38 40 lazer time

Hester's game-breaking ability was the best this program has ever seen. And we've had a ton of elite return men over the years. There are so many other people to choose from, this argument is retarded. His name doesn't belong next to Hester's yet.

I gotta agree. Based upon just high school film no one needs to be spoke of in the same breath as Devin. Anytime was beyond elite in so many different things mostly the fact that he had elite vision and once he made a decision he never questioned it. He attacked at full speed and made decisions just as quick.

IMO the only qbs out of the running are Cade and Testaverde.
And I'd bet Rosier is the least likely of the remaining to get the job.
I think it's Allison, Perry or Shireffs.
But unless Shireffs completely separates himself from the other two, I don't think he should be our qb this season. If Allison and Perry are keeping up with him, or even slightly behind him in practices, one of these two needs to be our qb.

Hate to tell u bruh but they've all been throwing picks right & left. Jack was making less errors. I understand the hesitation. I'll stay quiet & when Pete tells yall the same eventually well be happy cause it came from him. This early in spring camp the first second & third are basically the same for reps. And it was changing daily. Malik started off them jack started getting more burn than evan. It's not unique to us. Unless you have ur qb picked out or the and in the competition basically all schools do this. It's just a rotation at this point. Besides that alot of the state etc that are released aren't spot on. It's controlled.

I'm curious how many of these people reporting that (seriously I'm curious cause I don't know the answer) have actually been to our practices over consistently. We have closed practices that only certain media attends small portions of it. Past that it's mainly former players. Not sure where they get it. Anyways I'm just clueless. Let's run with sheriffs wins the job no matter what coaches actually have said & what it means for the team moving forward. Pete ask some players about sheriffs when you get bored. We don't even see him completing passes on a regular. So our running game better be beyond dominant.
