This shît just aint on rumph. Guys like saban and meyer are on these type of guys along with the position coach. Richt and diaz need to be right there with rumph on top of his ***.

He did not commit to a visit.

Ok, Surtain definitely has an OV scheduled for Tuskkkaloosa, and then mentioned Miami as a possibility later for a visit along with OSU and maybe some other schools.

So, yes, this sounds somewhat slightly hopeful, but I’m tapping my brakes.

Why, you ask. Because he doesn’t have an OV scheduled. All he said is that he might schedule one. That’s it. Only that there is a possibility he might schedule one.

Let’s be sure to read what’s really there in the cold harsh reality of the actual words, unblurred by wishful thinking.

Good news. We might get a visit. But neither him, nor TC, have committed to even making a visit yet.

Been to our games, been to our practices, and nothing.

Apparently we've been recruiting him for the wrong sport. Only way that comment makes sense.

Actually it is. He's known the kid forever and Campbell has referred to him as "like a father" to him. Shouldn't lose a guy like that.

I also really hope I'm wrong on Rumph and that he shocks us and lands Campbell (and if we're dreaming Surtain). Rumph seems like a decent person and he is one of ours, so I wish him all the luck in the World. I just think if a coach doesn't have a sales-type personality, he's better off coaching at the NFL level. Recruiting is kind of important in college ball.

That knowing somebody shît doesn't matter. that aint fair fight when you have multiple coaches including the hc on elite prospects hard and yall are expecting just rumph to win those battles.
 
FWIW Ivins said in the comments section he’s really confident about the visit happening.

Let's see if he's still singing the same tune after his bammer visit. If so, then maybe I'll entertain the thought of us as a legit threat.
