Starting to think the same. I liked what I saw from the young guys playing besides Emory. Only thing I’m mad at in second half was on the goal line running Lyle should’ve been 4 he scores easily and we win. Luke Nickel will be the starter game 1 if there’s no Portal QB. Gotta fire Guidry and most if not all defensive coaches. Me personally I keep Jason Taylor

As for LB, 22 should have gotten more snaps all season.

As for DL, we have 4 elite SDE and 0 wde. Move Bain to DT along side Moten, Scott, Jones, plus portal. Let Lightfoot and Pickett get wde snaps especially on passing downs.

Carr at WR would have to replace George. Trader already looks like an improvement to Brown. LSU kid replaced Horton. Hopefully Toney can replace X in some form as RR isn’t that guy.

OL should be ok

CB and S- bring in as many as NIL can afford. We have two players…OJ and Patterson. Brown didn’t play so I assume he is either hurt or transferring.

The DBs were oversold? Everybody said they were a weakness. The only DB who got hyped in fall camp was OJ Frederique.

Speaking for myself, my big miss from camp was thinking that: (1) the DL would be a strength; and that (2) Mauigoa would repeat his success at linebacker.

And even then, that was based more on prior performance in real games than anything on Greentree.

I know JT is handcuffed by a drunk calling the D. How can u expect to see effective DL play when they stunt 60% of the time and are dropping 285lb guys into the flats
 
Idk if we need an impact LB I think the LBs are better with #1 gone forever and 22 and 17 getting his snaps they can just give u way more side line to side line

We will have enough money but we're never going to compete with the top 6-8 money schools..

The House settlement essentially sets every P4 with $15M from the school directly and then NIL/McDonalds bags on top of that.

The sad thing is now the best we can hope for is to compete for ACC titles every year and once in a while catch lightning in a bottle to be nationally relevant every few years.

Being in the ACC is going to be an albatross around our neck for recruiting and then money available for facilities and coaches.

Horton is better than the LSU kid.

RB is fine bc Lyle is our best back. well miss Martinez tho bc he was a complete back but Lyle is a stud imo.

OL will be fine under Mario and AM.

TEs is a weakness with depth but Lofton is good.

Our running game was much improved
Our WR group had very few drops
Our TE play was drastically improved
Our D was under coached and that should be the emphasis along with personnel upgrades at key positions

There scared of the reality that just hit , take all those Cam plays away next year or even this past year and you’ll see why everyone is freaking and scared .
They’re hoping to go grocery shopping again they’re are no Cams out there who will give you 50 plus points per game yo cover up a hole ridden team in many areas on D we do not have the athletes with any field presence or who want to put the X type work in.

Oddly enough DT was everyone’s concern (along with CB)

DE was supposed to be the strength

If anything, the DT spot far outplayed the DEs

Agree but Mario DID in fact get Cam to come here which alot of people ( myself included ) doubted it at times. I'll freak out when fall camp starts. Don't forget we are the off season all time champs. Lol
