Man, I don't understand why some people aren't all that high on Hightower. He is one of the smoothest WRs coming out of HS that I've seen in years. Is it perhaps because he doesn't use all the flashy moves like a lot of the other kids? That's the only thing I can think of, because he runs very good routes. Hightower is also VERY deceptively fast (I say deceptively because of his somewhat awkward running style). He doesn't appear to be running all that fast, yet he blows by guys and tends to create separation effortlessly on a consistent basis. Hightower is going to be a beast here.

That's it...you have a great combo of the size, speed, high point ability, ball skills, and route running here. This kid is perfect for what we need.

Love our DB and WR commits, just give me Campbell and one more WR and I couldn't be happier with the class, unreal talent
 
Brian Hightower kind of reminds me of Michael Floyd from Notre Dame. Will win 50/50 balls downfield, be a physical presence blocking, and get some RAC yards. Wouldn't surprise if he was the most game-ready out the WR class from day one.

Nope. Roy Williams was a legendary athlete coming out of HS - BH, while very good, was never at that level.

No no his movement and playing style he is very comparable....not talking bout stats or status just the ability that he has....or the potential for his ability

Something tells me that if Gil went to a school like Bama he would have been a lockdown corner. And if Jobe came here he wouldve been a striker. It gets kind of hard to not critique this staff in putting these players in the best positions to succeed.

Banda wanted jobe at safety but they were gonna start at corner just like gil started at corner here

Don’t think he would’ve been a corner but he would be a nasty safety right now.
