The Opening 2017 WR's vs DB's

Love Blades' physicality. St. Brown won that one rep against him, but that's the first we've seen in this camp as well as Rivals 5 Star. Just don't see the "#1 corner" in A. Cook, will likely be a safety at the next level. Who is the kid at the end with the one handed INT and the nearly broken neck? lol

@ 8:40 - Mark Pope vs Pat Surtain II, Pope beat'em twice & made it look easy.

This video is much better than the other I posted in the OP, it has way more reps from a very good angle.

I was really impressed with Justin Shorter, he looks like AJ Green out there.

And whoever told Tyreke Johnson he's a CB just flat out lied to him, has no flip in his hips & runs like he's waiting for the route to be finished so he can just make a leg tackle lol

My Thoughts.

- I love that Blades is physical (We finally adding physical DB) I think he can be a good CB but he would be an elite safety at the next level.
- Elijah Moore might need a "Hey big head" text.
- Hate to say it but that ni99a Surtain is clamps. I'm not surprised since he has elite ability + his dad was clamps on the Dolphins when he played so he getting help from a pro bowl CB everyday while getting top notch HS coaching.
- Mark Pope kinda disappointment me a little. I thought he was gonna go there and hands down be a top 3 WR there. TBH all the WRs ain't look that good even the 5-star ones.
- Will and Brevin look good in the 1 play they showed for both.
- Hightower is not shifty and needs to work on his route running.. But that dude ate people just off speed. Way faster then I thought he was ngl.
- Tyreke Johnson ain't no **** CB. NGL.. dude look like a low 3 star CB based on these reps.
- Who ever that Bookie kid is lawd have mercy. That boy is a top 15 pick.

Bookie is a headcase per Brooklyndee . Assuming he needs to get his head on straight first

Mark pope has consistently been one of the top performers at receiver. How is that a disappointment? Tf are you talking about . Here he is sh*tting on surtain the db you was just praising [TWEET]881358331658387456[/TWEET] furthermore that clip was not all the reps he took yesterday either when he was dominating

My thoughts exactly. I used to think Pope was a little over-rated, but this kid is one of the top 3 WRs in all of high school football. Kid makes it look easy against top level competition. Glad he will be a Hurricane!

I like Elijah Moore... he has a nasty game. A st. brown literally catches everything, but he is smaller than what I thought. Hightower is going to be good, big guy puts his foot in the ground and just goes. Get him in the weight room and for the old heads he could be like a young David Boston just because of his size and skin color. lol

Al Blades is not a natural corner.. still does not look back at the ball. Needs to work on his backpedal and his COD skills, but I see the upside and believe he has a hig ceiling similar to Hightower.

Campbell was playing off in his two clips. Hard to gauge, shocked in did not take reps with more higher quality wide receivers.

Glad we cooled on T Johnson. He's getting blown out. The Florida commit Burney is terrible.

Williams is good. But he's not even close to Jeudy or Pope. I'd take Moore over him all day. Hightower is raw but he's got the goods.

Agree with you on Amon-Ra, that kid is straight nasty, he has some Odell Beckham in his game, in that he's very good & extremely arrogant lol

Disagree slightly on Blades, I think he's definitely a natural CB, he has very good Press Technique & is very physical at the line.

I think he gets caught up sometimes trying to make a big play as opposed to just keeping his man in front of him.

He'll be very good with some Coaching, he has good feet & can jam better than most CB's already on the college level.
