There's being deliberate and there’s being indecisive or slow. The latter can be detrimental to the program, not only in the short term, by not giving these kids more time to build relationships with these coaches and learn the basic concepts of their scheme, but also long term by Mario garnering this negative label, which you know 100% will be used against him.

Clemson flips OCs almost immediately this year. Saban goes out and fills both roles before Mario can fill his first one. Michigan looks to be grabbing Partridge from Ole Miss. There’s example after example in CFB with top programs and yet here we sit again. It makes zero sense for Mario to move this slowly on coaching hires year over year. The optics are terrible.

As per usual, you are full of ****. "Wasn't an interview" and "wasn't a serious interview" are the same **** things.

But keep inventing fake distinctions so that you can act like some great analyst.

There's no BS. You were the one who keeps (falsely) acting like Mullen was there to be interviewed for the OC position.

And in case you are confused, I made a comment about Mullen being a member of the paid media. Which means MULLEN can come down and interview Mario or any of our coaches any time he wants to do so. As a member of the paid media.

Stop lying to people and acting like Mullen filled out a UM job application and had one of those infamous all-day job interviews with Mario. Mario wasn't even on the UM campus most of that day.

Agree, if Candle had to be convinced to come to Miami in the 1st place and ND is throwing 2.4 million $, he isn't coming. He is a midwestern boy and ND is close by, he isn't worth that amount of money. My favorite, Kevin Johns isn't worth that amount of money, but he is just as good an OC as Candle.
