The high and mighty sec

They’ll be a team who will beat a top team or two every year, but also lose to a middle of the road team.

That roster has as much talent as anyone.

Great recruiter, but he’s slipping as a coach. Plus aTm is paying top dollar for recruits. In fact they’re overpaying because they are located in a Texas shlthole.

Let's be honest, UF with the right coaching staff is a top 10 program. Auburn, based on raw talent more than likely wins the Coastal most years. Texas A&M is a different animal since they moved to the SEC. They're commited to being a top 10 program, and with Jimbo's recruiting they're gonna be a contender for the forseeable future.
Let's be honest, ANY of the "Big 3" in Florida are top 10 teams with "the right coaching staff". That's obviously easier said than done.

Why are you so bullish on Auburn? This is the same "raw talent" rich program that loses to Northwestern and Minnesota and UCF in recent bowls.

TAMU might eventually be worthy of your optimism but 3 seasons in and Ol' Cuckbo still hasn't posted one double digit win season. He basically improved them like 1 game over what Sumlin averaged. The same Sumlin that early on we heard all the recruiting hype there that we currently hear about Cuckbo. I bet Cuckbo even uses the same magical helicopter.

Anybody that understands football understands where the SEC rates. Both talent wise and in their capability of winning games.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to be deep throating them on this site.

Just think through why the SEC is where they are.

They’ve basically been allowed to run a criminal enterprise for the last 20 years because the NCAA has been running interference for them, while we are getting destroyed for giving out used washers and dryers, they are paying six-figure salaries to players, an open secret that everybody knows, but we couldn’t participate in that. Because others were too scared to because that would’ve shut it down.

Who are the top coaches in the SEC? Other than Saban who has gone on to greatness? Even racist Kirby is having a hard time breaking through.

That should tell you that what they have is this: a bought talent advantage - not a coaching advantage. If they were truly legitimately strong, they would have all-time coaches other than Saban.

Good on them for having a champion in Mark Emmert, and for gaming the system in a way that they couldn’t get caught, because of protection and because of their supremely secret booster system, but that’s really what we’re talking about here.

Because SC has a ton of talent. they have more talent than the entire ACC besides Miami, Clemson and UNC. Houston is a terrible example and you know it. Auburn had numerous opt outs where as Houston players treated this game like its their super bowl. Did you watch the game? Dana was literally talking about how "if they win this game it puts them on par with the 2 other "legendary" houston teams that beat P5 teams in bowls. Regular season Auburn beats Houston.
I can’t tell if this is trolling. My bad if I fell for it.

Now South Carolina has a ton of talent???? The South Carolina that lost 30-0 to the worst Clemson team in a decade?

All eight - literally all eight - of Clemson’s ACC opponents performed better against Clemson than South Carolina of the SEC did.

South Carolina, which is the 10th most talented team in the SEC still has 23 blue chip recruits. 2 being 5 stars. I can't tell if you are trolling or if someone in the SEC touched you when you where little.

Tell me how the ACC did against Clemson and then tell me how South Carolina did against Clemson.

Reveals my character? I am stating a fact. Anyone that is this emotional about a particular conference, must have some sort of emotional baggage regarding them. Clemson went 50% against the SEC. The did a lot better against the ACC. Just look at your mighty ACC team right now getting smoked by South Carolina.

I knew that part was coming.

Auburn loses to Houston: meh, they didn’t care about the bowl game.

South Carolina leads UNC in the first quarter: they would win the ACC.

Nope, you are the one that set up the "bowl games are so important" narative. So now you can deal with this. Not to mention the fact that USC has more important opt outs than UNC does.

Good, we can go with “bowl games matter”.

Missouri, Auburn, Florida, and Mississippi State say hello.

None of those teams played against ACC teams. I am not saying bowl games matter. I don't think they matter. You are the one that keeps pushing the narrative so I wanted to hear your response to the first ACC vs SEC game.
