I'm not exactly sure why another playoff thread was needed. Everyone just needs to prepare to be disappointed. It's been tough being a cane fan the last 20 years, but we should be used to it by now. This program seems snake bitten. Anyways, think we need to focus on what is going to be available in the portal since recruiting went to **** as well. I believe Emory can play the bowl game and still retain his redshirt. Maybe he comes out and plays outstanding.

I agree completely, but why does this **** only apply to Miami? Alabama had to assume they had zero safety net after losing twice. And then 10 days ago, they went to Norman and scored 3 points. They looked beyond awful the entire football game. Their path was clear to force the committee’s hand, and they didn’t take it. They left it up to the committee. And they still get to back in? **** that.

Going to come down to what the committee values more. Quality wins or quality losses. If it’s the former, Miami is out of luck. If it’s the latter we have a decent shot to be in at least as of tonight. Neither of our two losses looks anywhere near as bad as Bama only scoring a field goal against a dog OU team, and Ole Miss losing to a Kentucky team at home that went 4-8. South Carolina doesn’t have a bad loss, but they lost both Bama and Ole Miss.
