Sounds like a demotion to me. . I wouldn’t be surprised if Dennis bounces in due time for several reasons. To be clear I wouldn’t call this hiring a demotion for Smith but more of his role changing , less on his plate. This guy is more of an evaluation , personnel GM type position.

He’s still going to be heavily involved , just not the personnel side . That’s how it was explained . Regardless the room got much better.Sounds like a demotion to me. . I wouldn’t be surprised if Dennis bounces in due time for several reasons.

Makes sense based on the story’s I’ve heard. Keep him away from the kids and their parents. He’s still going to be heavily involved , just not the personnel side . That’s how it was explained . Regardless the room got much better.
Gonna call Ripley’sWe have GOT to issue a press release on this.
ATTENTION ALL COLLEGE FOOTBALL ASSISTANT COACHES: Man has chosen to work for Mario Cristobal over Bill Belichick.
So, what does this mean for Field and Rumph??
Either A. USCe thought He didn’t cheat ENOUGH…. or B. He got caught stepping over the line of demarcation (little school cheating vs. “gettin’ too big for yo britches” cheating) by SEC officials who are notorious for policing the **** out of and throwing the **** book at the “little guys” of the SEC for minor violations, while schools like UGA, Bama, and LSU get away with stone cold murder year around. Either way, glad we got him. Welcome aboard!First, I don't understand how an SEC school can fire any coach for minor cheating violations. I believe that is a violation of SEC by-laws.
Second, I appreciate the fact that we aced out Bill Belicheat.
Third, I hope he puts Dennis Smith into one of those Hannibal Lecter masks.
Bill is in over his head in college he looking for someone with recruiting ties.
Who knows if he didn’t?Coach shoulda made him do bat signal for this guy we just hired
