Was fired by USCe for recruiting violations (apparently minor).

South Carolina has done a good job keeping the better players from SC

Clemson being in state and then you have SEC powers like UT and UGA nearby but they’ve been doing well fighting them off

I think back in 2021 they ended up having a grad assistant play QB IIRC but they’ve been really solid at talent acquisition for a team that is sort of an afterthought in the SEC

First, I don't understand how an SEC school can fire any coach for minor cheating violations. I believe that is a violation of SEC by-laws.

Second, I appreciate the fact that we aced out Bill Belicheat.

Third, I hope he puts Dennis Smith into one of those Hannibal Lecter masks.

Either A. USCe thought He didn’t cheat ENOUGH…. or B. He got caught stepping over the line of demarcation (little school cheating vs. “gettin’ too big for yo britches” cheating) by SEC officials who are notorious for policing the **** out of and throwing the **** book at the “little guys” of the SEC for minor violations, while schools like UGA, Bama, and LSU get away with stone cold murder year around. Either way, glad we got him. Welcome aboard!
